I have to uninstall and reinstall several times a day! I do Pest Control and this app adds at least an extra hour to my day just from waiting for it to load. I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The best software and customer service

This company’s practices are amazing. Best software and a team in the USA that is able to help with any issues or questions you have. Instead of trapping you in an overpriced contract that under delivers they overdeliver and allow you to pause your service at any time (ex seasonal business). The price they charge is extremely fair, they are open to consumer suggestions/ideas for improvement, have a super helpful video based tutorial “knowledge base”, and are constantly making the service better. THIS IS ARGUABLY THE BEST SOFTWARE FOR SMALL/MEDIUM ROUTE-BASED BUSINESSES. I cannot speak for large/complicated businesses but I so hope so because I don't ever want to leave GD. Setting up our preferences/setting was extremely easy and intuitive. We chose to add all clients manually to ensure the info was error-free, but they do have a way to port info over from QBO, and probably others. Downsides: app requires great data connection, limited integrations, and there is a sales tax calculation error (QBO calculates a penny off most invoices) on QuickBooks Online that QBO refuses to solve. GD can actually do math and the sales tax totals are always spot on. I use the integrations GD has with stripe & QBO. As for the server updates in the middle of the day apparently that’s Amazon’s fault as GD rents some of their server space or something like that. Amazon will reboot in the middle of the day sometimes and not warn GD. The work-around is to turn to airplane mode and enter all your data when the system comes back online. We may also start taking a screen shot of the daily route as a backup as well since this could potentially leave your technician not knowing where their next stop. GD can also integrate with square, zapier, and others I just haven’t set up. There is also a way for GD to allow potential and current clients to schedule online or have a client portal if you choose. Just a few of the amazing and automated features available with the “Pro” subscription. We are looking forward to upgrading to “Grow” when we get a few team members under our belt. Been with GD about 1.5 yr btw. Thank you again GD!!!

We are so happy with GorillaDesk! Communication with customer support is always amazing. Our only issue is that sometimes the app glitches but what app doesn’t. I love the invoicing and scheduling.

Don’t restart servers when we’re working.

Server restart in middle of work day. Restart severs at night when no one is using them not in the middle of the day when we need them the most. I get that you need to do server maintenance, but do it when it’s least busy, not when it’s busiest when people rely on it for their livelihood's the most. I’ll gladly remove this review once the team acknowledges this issue and will prevent it from happening again as it’s causing major disruptions and loss of revenue in real-time.

I have used Gorilla Desk since 2015 first time with a company I was working with, then in 2020 I went on my own and opened an irrigation company. What I love about this app is the adapting capabilities and the support staff are always there to help you. If you don’t know how to do something, they are there to help you and teach you . All apps have flaws and glitches . There is no way I could run my business without this app !

Easy to use but malfunctions often

I really do like this app, however, anytime, I type out a long report I have to do it over again because the network connections fail. Very frustrating as I have to remember what I typed in my report and type it all over again.

I have been with GD for 7-8 years. They have never let me down. Yes, there are issues from time to time, but try sales force for a day and you will see real issues. Everyone at GD has always been responsive and professional and I for one am very grateful.
