I’m somewhat bemused by the reviews that insist there is no logic to this game. Because there is, but it requires players to think in a non euclidien way. I feel sorry for those who played and felt they just had to randomly tap things. If you’ve played and loved Monument Valley, you’ll enjoy Gorogoa, the format is different, but it forces you to think in similar ways. The game design is elegant and clever. Yes, there are challenging parts, it’s a puzzle game, and we’re adults. If you want hand holding, not the game for you. The plot is beautiful and sad, the graphics are just gorgeous. The music is a wonderful counterpoint without being distracting. In combination, all these elements make a wonderfully memorable puzzle game that I think leaves most of us wanting more. It’s over too soon, I always want more to play.
I keep coming back to Gorogoa. I get captured by the air of wistfulness and magic. The artwork is super cool.
I absolutely loved everything about this puzzle. The graphics, music and design were sensational - so cleverly done. Blew my mind. It was the perfect mix of challenging and therapeutic. I cannot thank the developers and illustrator enough for this immersive experience.
The creators must be bizarrely brilliant or a bit insane (it’s a thin line)….on a par with ‘Gris’. What else could you give it but five stars?
Don't listen to dummies saying there's NO LOGIC or AIMLESS CLICKING it's DUMB COMMENTS. The gameplay can be difficult so you must relax and find the way to solve the puzzle. GOOD GRAPHICS, FUN PUZZLE, GET NOW
I found the puzzles fairly easy, but figuring out the story… I’m still not sure I get it. First puzzle game I ever played through twice.
A very original game with beautiful illustrations and smooth gameplay. Excellent puzzles and a real joy to play. Sadly the game isn’t long enough. I will be looking for more from this creator.
Unique, just challenging enough to keep me engaged & left me wanting more.
It's a clever game but it keeps resetting and losing all progress. Sick of it after my fifth restart. Never got past third level as a result.
