Is GoToMeeting free?
Yes, GoToMeeting is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is GoToMeeting legit?
⚠️ The GoToMeeting app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I liked the old app well enough, but the new app does not bring joy. I only use goto for a social meeting; thank goodness I’m not using it for work. That said, the update made some unnecessary changes.
Removing color coding for things like muting/unmuting was unhelpful. Black and white only interface is so 2015.
The new way of showing when a mic is live or muted is opposite that of other apps, so it becomes pretty confusing for attendees and disruptive for meetings.
The new app doesn’t seem to allow me an easy way to define my personal settings for meetings when I launch it—so by default I start out with tons of people in my view, and this overshadows the black and white only tools.

Very easy to navigate, absolutely no interuptions.
Replaced 01/01/2023
Tried for hours to load the app to find that it has been replaced.
Doesn’t work!
I downloaded this app but was unable to join my meeting. I couldn’t find any help file or support so missed the meeting.
Can’t see the others on the call
When I’m on it’s difficult or not possible to see all the faces of the other people on the call. Unless they start speaking. That’s not good.
Webs
Having trouble accessing webinars. Sometimes I ca get them and then they disappear part way through.
A good thing
Go to meeting is very user friendly. Sometimes when the weather is bad it lags, but that’s understandable. I just appreciate being able to have something else to depend on. Thank you
Not working
Either go to meeting had changed over the last few years or???? I couldn’t get it to just go to the meeting. Asking me all kinds of questions like sign in/up, what is this?
Can’t establish a meeting
I’ve been unable to create a meeting for over two months. I’ve contacted you multiple times and no improvement. I’ve been with you for sometime and have continued to be charged for no service. Unreliable
Not always reliable when joining meetings. Just experienced an issue today where I couldn’t join a critical client meeting and was a huge inconvenience.
