Really love the app. Easy to use and great options for viewing the maps. One suggestion: maybe you could add an option to show the remaining distance based on your current location?

GPX viewer 2 is the brand new version of my first GPX viewer app! With new features, a new modern user interface and new interactions. I've listened to your needs and built a new app just for you!
Import your tracks from GPX files (tracks or routes) into the app. Even if your file contains many tracks.
Display their tracks on different preset base maps (plan, satellite, OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap, Swisstopo, IGN) or on any of your own custom base maps.
Display an interactive elevation profile to evaluate track difficulty. And check out all of information contained into your GPX file (such as description, images, links, waypoints and stats).
Track your position along the route during your hike by following the path on the interactive map. You can also view GPX points of interest, navigation tools (compass, GPS location, altitude) and a speedometer. The app even provides weather conditions at the starting point of your itinerary.
All what you need to go hiking and follow your route... without ads! The only in-app purchases are tips for few other features, just take a look.

Direction issue
It is a nice and easy app to use. I like it. Only problem is that the direction of travel is not always indicated straight on the road. That is annoying. Is it possible to solve this?
Not usable
When I install the app on my iPad, I can no longer open and upload GPX files from the web version of Garmin Connect or from routeyou. The GPX tracks are then visible but cannot be selected. I had to reinstall my entire iPad. On my iPhone I only deleted the apps after which I had access to the GPX tracks again. The GPS viewer is a very useful app, but is not usable due to the blocking of GPX traxks in website applications. Regards, Fred

Geen carplay navigatie. Heb er in de auto niets aan dus.
Perfect for biking routes GPX created on ANWB site
It works perfectly with the gpx file you can download from the ANWB bike route planner. Really easy to import the file and display it. Lots of options to make it behave as you want. This makes the bike ride very relaxed. I also like this viewer because it doesn’t invade your privacy as some of the other all-in-one apps do. Some small possible improvement I see: - Font size of the waypoint text - Your location marker always on top - Speed displayed was 3 km lower than on bike display (at 23 km/h).
Great app!
I use this for plotting out routes when I want to drive my mopedcar, only using the allowed roads. Works like a charm, thanks Jonathan!!

In version 1 you had the option to choose your route from a list AND from a map. It's a pity that this is no longer possible in version 2
