Very unhelpful app
The app only displays courses I’m in as a student but not the one I’m the instructor. Does not support horizontal view on iPad.
Description
Students, upload your assignments to Gradescope more easily than ever before! If your instructor uses Gradescope for your assignments, you can now upload your submission with our mobile app.
After installing and opening the app, login to see your Gradescope courses and assignments. To upload a submission, click on the assignment in the “Not Submitted” tab and either “Select File” to select an existing file from your device or “Scan” all pages of your completed work using your iPhone’s camera. Once you submit your file(s), for templated assignments, you’re all set. For variable-length assignments, “Assign pages” to indicate where your answer for each question appears within your submission. It’s that easy! After confirming, your assignment then moves to the “Submitted” tab. If needed, you can resubmit your assignment until the due date your instructor set has passed. Once it is graded and grades are published for the assignment, it then moves to the “Graded” tab.
Note: For V1 of the app, you will be directed to our mobile website for any advanced functionality, including viewing feedback and submitting timed, programming, or online assignments. Stay tuned for future updates that will allow you to do even more with our mobile app!

Actually useless
Basically has no functionality other than notifications and seeing what you submitted. When you need to do something else it shunts you to the website because it lacks any sort of functionality. Why have an app? I’d rather just have a link to the website on my home screen.
Terrible app
Doesn’t notify me for due dates until 2 days after the assignment is due. My notification settings are set to remind me 1 day before and it has never done this. Piece of garbage.
What’s the point of a Gradescope app if you can’t see your work
The Gradescope app is supposed to be about convenience to be able to submit and see your work on the go, but you can not submit easily due to the cumbersome UI, and can not view your work without being redirected to safari or another web browser and logging in all over again. Horrible app
This is a bad app
As a grad student, I have multiple classes that I use grade scope for. However, since I took a class as a student that used grade scope, this app only lets me access that one student class and none of my classes as an instructor show up. I’m assuming there’s some security feature supposed to protect students from hacking and instructor account or something. I don’t know, but as an instructor this app is 100% useless. Using the website is fine, but if you want the convenience of an app, this is not the product I would choose.

Unoptimized iPad app
iPad app is just the phone app slapped in the middle off the screen. And massive black bars on either side
bad
i have to go through 3 DIFFERENT PORTALS to log in every time i open this app. have some sort of easier log in, this is insane
Scan Errors
I think the newest update ruined scan functionality on my iPhone. Timed submissions are no joke and this app almost cost me a significant grade. I restarted app and deleted and reinstalled to no avail. A total bummer because it was working well before.
Literally unusable
So whenever I try and scan a submission it gives me an error the second I open the camera but whenever I submit a file there’s an error on submission. And both of these issues persist even after redownloading.
