Description

According to researchers at the Harvard Medical School, “Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.” Grateful was created to make expressing gratitude in your life both easy and fun, as well as to remind you, during those down moments, of the many blessings in your life (that you've documented in Grateful).
*Daily Prompts to Start You Off*
With its simple interface and daily prompts, Grateful is designed to make reflection and giving thanks both a joyful and easy process. Daunted by a blank page? Not quite sure where to start? Grateful will greet you with one question, such as. 'What made you smile today'? or 'What made today a good day?'. All you have to do is answer. It can be a simple word. Or a simple paragraph. Grateful allows for both. You can also add a photo to support your thoughts.
*Easy to Browse your Past Entries*
Grateful's simple journal feed lets you browse your entries by TIME or by PROMPT. Want to see all the things that made you smile this year? Jump to those entries in your timeline. Want to see what your state of mind was last January? Jump to that month in your timeline.
*Our Prompts or Yours*
Grateful gives you the flexibility to make the journal truly yours. When sit down to write an entry, Grateful will start you off with a prompt. You have the option of:
1.) Answering the prompt
2.) Choosing a different prompt
3.) Writing your own prompt

Amazing but only 15 notes for free version!!!

It’s self-enrichment routine but why forcing people to get the paid version after 15 notes!!

Great App - Need Year in Date!

I love just about everything in this app. However, the journal dates need to show the year. Some of my entries are from long ago, and I don’t know what year they happened.

Adore remembering what I’m grateful for

ArtsyBakingGeek on

I absolutely love this app. I started using it during the pandemic as a daily journal to remember one good thing that happened to me. Then it suddenly wouldn’t open for the longest while as the app kept crashing so I stopped using it. Even then, as I put a widget on my screen, I loved seeing a random past grateful moment to remember. I’ve since opened it back up and am using it again. That said, the widget hasn’t been updated and is still in the old mode. I’m concerned an Apple update is going to wipe it. I’d absolutely adore an update to the widget part so I can see more grateful moments as I use my phone. 💕

I love this app

This is one of my oldest and most favorite apps. If you're feeling upset, write in this app everyday for a week and your whole mood and outlook changes. Even when I'm doing well and drop something in, it really helps me focus on the good in my life.

I want to love this app

My journals don’t save so I stopped using the app I paid for. It’s frustrating after reflecting and it vanishes after I press the save button

Nice when I need it

I don't use it every day/week but when good things happen I want to make a note.

👎, was a great app in the past

okcorral-carl on

App unusable for almost 2 months with no response from developer. Update made app worthless, as some #s are in operable for password. This was a fantastic app. :( Will be happy to change rating if access is restored.

Near perfect, just needs Cloud-sync automatic option

MWKmd on

Clean, simple app that I found very satisfying. Lacks an automated way to upload to or from the cloud. The manual process is unnecessarily tedious, and risk overwriting or losing entries if you use the app on more than one device.

So much potential

This SHOULD be the perfect app. Clean design, simple, customizable and offers backups. Perfect! 👍 Back ups don’t work, support is non-existent. To the developer, you built a wonderful app. I’d love to continue with your app, but if the back ups don’t work and you don’t give support it’s useless.

No email response for over a week now

ReddBK on

After the latest update, I was unable to log into the app because my passcode wasn’t being accepted. After deleting app then reinstalling, I have now lost all of my data from well over a year of using this app. I have written multiple emails to customer service inquiring how to fix the problem and restore my data with absolutely no response. I am clearly not happy and disappointed as a result.
