Nothing can be easy to use , pay with a card , PayPal or Apple Pay and the other platform!
Been using this app since it has come out fantastic , gets updated along the way as well.
Very easy to use
Very clear for ticket and travel options, easy to set up account and book tickets
Greater Anglia App
I’ve been using the app for a while now and since replacing the GA card that you had to tap in and out and load your season tickets or daily ones on which I use more, this has changed my life ! It’s straight forward to just load your travel time and ticket including any national rail cards and just like that it’s done and stored for you. I also claim my journeys for work so you can get a receipt downloaded for that as well as the emails.
I have found all the information in one place and live feeds have also helped me prepare for any worst case scenarios!
There has been some cliches but then it’s expected with any technology but it doesn’t last long. And if you can’t access your ticket on the app you have the emails with the QR code for your journey.
I use the trains all the time and so glad this has helped with commuting.
Does the job, missing keys features though
Great app. It’s responsive and does the job.
I hate that have to call and speak to someone to process a refund for unused tickets ESPECIALLY since the button to process refund is right there.
Terrible app - avoid like the plague
No option to split tickets. No cadback or discounts. Much better options available. Greater Anglia think they are BR in the 1970s. Avoid like the plague.
Easy to navigate
I like this app because it’s not overly complicated, is easy to get e-tickets and you can use stored cards in your phone wallet.
What I prefer about this app over and above other rail planning and booking apps/sites is that it is very easy to see what the alternative fare options are and there are no fees.
Suggestions for improvements
Hello Greater Anglia dev team. Couple of suggestions for you - please could you use location tracking to work out when I am near a station at the time of one of my tickets and display:
a) the platform of the next train to my destination on the Lock Screen of my phone.
b) a quick access to my ticket QR code so that I don’t have to navigate through the whole app to get to it.
Think these would dramatically improve CX for regular commuters. Thanks
First time user
Used first time with success and no nervous breakdown… can’t be bad
Now bricked!!!!!
On iPhone app version the app no longer functions as the is a pop up that opens on start and can’t be close saying “Want to Stay updated?” The cancel doesn’t work so unable to use app to show ticket for a journey next week! Edit Found cause: I use larger text. When turn off app functions as expected but does discriminate against those of us with disabilities
