They updated the app and it’s a lot faster now

Love GreaterLI news app! They are the best community news source with very well written and engaging articles. Excited to see them expand into other parts of LI.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I “dare” to open a story from my notifications, it not only takes FOREVER to launch, but more than HALF the time, it never does! And like this latest try, I was surprised to find it actually DID open the story about Babylon’s annual Chinese Auction going online this year due to Covid, but as soon as I share the story via FB, it not only does NOT bring me back to the story, but it’s not even in the newsfeed for Greater Babylon OR Bay Shore, and when searching for “Chinese auction” - brings me OLD articles, not the CURRENT one I was originally interested in from the app’s notifications on my iPhone10x!! THIS type of nonsense is NOT a one-time thing.... it is CONSTANT, which finally brought me to needing to send this realistic review of what SOUNDED like a great app for LI to complement the local Patch’s... sadly, NOT EVEN CLOSE

Downloaded the app after seeing it on facebook. Nothing loaded. Not sure if they updated the app to be compliant with 13.1 or not yet. Deleted.

This app is great I get to know everything about my local news from new restaurants to new events within the Long Island area.

Great app. Great news about LI.
