It’s very educational but they are missing Artemis
Just down loaded and went searching to learn more about Artemis. They don’t even have her. They have Apollo, her twin brother, and Leto, her mother, but not her. Artemis is mentioned in the Leto article, but not given an article. Plus, the articles are just wikipedia copy and pasted. Don’t waste your time.
The app was okay, but the story of Persephone being kidnapped is incorrect. She found her way into the underworld and wanted to stay, but her mother, Demeter, did not like that. Zeus had to intervene and Persephone went up to the living spring and summer.
The best Greek mythology app ever NO ADDS
Many terms are underlined, but hypertext functionality is not implemented.
It is very exciting that they have this Greek mythology app! However, it is missing many standard Greek characters and mythological stories or philosophy pieces. For example Plato‘s cave is a standard philosophical idea taught in high schools but not a word about it. The character Sisyphus is not even listed. And there are many more characters and myths missing - this app really needs to be updated! The search function doesn’t work, at least it’s never found anything I’ve asked for. I bought the full version but it didn’t help, it’s still lacking.
I’m enjoying the quality & abundance of imagery and the deep dives into topics.
