Who is allowed to drive in an European environmental zone, with which vehicle type, on what day, depending on what weather conditions? Where are the environmental zones? Where can I order the corresponding badges?
It’s easy to lose the overview. The Green-Zones app helps you and supports you with the following features:
• A detailed representation of all rules and exemptions of each environmental zone in Europe, for which a fee-based badge, vignette or registration is required.
• A geo-data based map system indicating the contours of all the environmental zones, including a zoom function.
• The daily information coming from the local authorities responsible for the environmental zone in order to know the rules and traffics bans planned for the next day.
• Reports of announcements from the authorities for temporary traffic restrictions in an environmental zone for the next day.

Useful but deceptive
This is a very helpful app for seeing whether or not you can drive in the increasing number of congestion/pollution controlled areas in Europe.
Of course the app maker is not doing this for charity, and needs to monetise this app in some way.
Beware of them selling very costly bogus registration badges for Zones that do not require them (in the UK all green zones are ANPR controlled and do not require any pre-registration or badges of any kind) or selling badges that do (like French Critair) at hugely inflated prices.

Lots of useful info, but it doesn't cover plug-in hybrid cars.
Suggestion for improvement: given a car's specifications, suggest what stickers are available so we know what to order.
Note to readers: you can buy the stickers direct from the authorities for about 10% of what this company charges.
Works Great!
Navigating car restrictions in Madrid was a breeze thanks to this app! I simply entered my car's details, and it instantly revealed where and when I could legally drive. Bonus points: it works seamlessly for other countries on my travel list!
Pointless app
This app has no purpose except to extract money from people. It’s not an aid and it doesn’t help you plan journeys through or around clean air zones. It should be taken down.
Only some countries showed.
This app does not display information for all countries - for example it shows no zones whatsoever in Italy - when in fact there are multiple all over the country. It does not make this clear instead leading you to believe it includes all of Europe meaning I drove to a zone in Italy by accident and put myself at risk of a fine.
It appears they also try to hugely overcharge people for stickers too - not experienced this as my old van doesn’t qualify for any!
Tries to sell you overpriced badges
My vehicle doesn’t qualify for any French Air quality badge, but ‘no badge’ isn’t an option, so it tells me I need an in-app purchase before showing me information. If you qualify for a Crit’Air badge they’ll sell you one for over €30, but these only cost €3 and some change from the French government website. Potentially useful app but useless for me and a rip-off if you get your badge from them.
Don’t buy badges through the app
Crit’Air badges cost less than €5 to buy direct from the official online outlet (with full instructions in English). The price for buying through the app carries an outrageous markup. Avoid.
Absolute rip off!
Charges €31 for a German emissions sticker that is €6 via official channels. Providing a service and charging a fee is one thing, but price gouging is quite another - buy the stickers direct!
Incorrect Advice Given avoid
They try and sell you a Brown Badge for Belgium. These according to the official Brussels web site have no legal status. You can register for free directly with Brussels and Antwerp/Ghent. This app told me I was not registered ! Which was not true.
