Grill Thermometer

I get it as a gift present, work the 1st 2-3 times really good, than is hard to connect or impossible, same one of the thermometer were not accurate and not always working. Totally not recommended.

I was given this “Grill Thermometer” as a Christmas present. When I first used it the power would shut off on it. I kept fooling with it but the temperature readings bounced around a lot. The app was unable to give me the current temperature of the food. I had to go check the temperatures for myself at the smoker, which is kind of useless. I’m grateful for the gift it would have been amazing if it worked

Doesn’t work at all. Can’t establish or hold a connection for more than a second.

The thermometer works well, but the app will not stay connected to Bluetooth. I’m disappointed because I purchased this thermometer to use with Bluetooth. I’ve tested the unit by setting my phone down at several different distances, but it will lose connection after only a few minutes. I hope an app update will correct this issue.

It just disconnects after 20-30min from the blue tooth.. not sure why! Super annoying

My Sharper Image hardware is great quality and the cables are of good quality too. The app crashes on me periodically. Sitting in the couch and all of a sudden my alarm goes off and says it’s no longer connected. I walk out to my smoker and notice the unit is off. Turn it back on and then the app reconnects. Maybes it’s the hardware? It has brand new batteries. Not sure what’s up. Good materials earned this review of 4 stars. Not happy about the connectivity issues I’m having tho.

The app is ok but the probe hardware that came with it was defective and temperature on one probe skyrocketed to 284 F. It never reset. Got a replacement and same thing happened. Without reliable hardware, the app is useless.
