Grim Tides tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Tides can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.
Grim Tides is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just some unobtrusive ads, permanently removable with a one-time purchase, and completely optional goodies for those who wish to support the game and its development even further.

Nice story based RPG

Hits the spot for me between complexity and playability on a phone. I wish it was a bit more difficult? Although I'm just on the first cave and playing in perm death mode so I will probably eat those words soon enough. Tip: Healing spell is nice, might be a bit overpowered? I enjoy reading the story bits.

Great game with a good storyline. Some of the screens could use some voiceover improvements though.

Dungeon map screens contain icons not recognizable by VoiceOver. Haven't found a way to use forge or alchemy screens at all. Also, battle academy and the ship facilitiesand upgrade screens require voiceover users to scroll through all the options before reaching the action buttons. . Still managed to finish the main quest, so not issues are not show-stoppers.

Definitely worth the money. I’ve put in at least a few days worth of time into this game alone. Only problem is that when I got a new phone all my save data was deleted.
