GTA: Chinatown Wars Reviews

My DS

Now I can play GTA CTW on both my DS and my phone.

Can't control with joystick on controller

Devs please fix this! Only thing that ruins the game. Can't use any controller with it because the joystick won't move the character, only the dpad. Please fix to allow joystick movement! Then it's a 5 star game!

30 minutes to “trial”, then either pay or delete, basically.

Good game, but controls are tough.

I just got this game and it is actually pretty fun, but there is one really annoying thing. The fact that the controls are hell to try and use. It is pretty easy to get a car stuck somewhere, and unable to get it out of there, and if you added easier controls (such as the ones in other mobile ports), it would be much easier to drive.

No timer please

Why would you need a timer when it’s a fun game

Pretty good but weird

This is a good game for mobile and the story’s really good but considering this was made after GTAIV is just crazy. The graphics, character design and destruction physics are no where near as good as GTAIV

Great game!

Great game. The full Chinatown Wars on my iPhone! Controls are good though driving takes a bit of getting used to. Just buy it! 2023 update: I wrote the above shortly after Chinatown Wars launched on iOS back. 2009 or 2010. I still remember when it launched, it was summer in Australia and I still remember being blown away I was playing Chinatown Wars on my iPhone 3GS. I’ll replay it soon and I’ve noticed that it was updated two weeks ago, absolutely amazing that Rockstar are still tweaking this game 13 years after launch. Play this game, it’s great!

Amazing

Imma make this simple.. I like this game, because its fun The story is good, the characters are cool, and the gameplay is challengingly exciting.

Memories of controls are hard

Ooogaga on

I remember playing this game as a kid on my DS i’ve always remember this game as it was my first game I’ve ever played specially GTA. I’ve never forgotten this game and as soon as I saw that I could play it on my phone I tried it out. It’s still amazing as always the story and just a gameplay, but plan on the phone is way too hard and annoying as driving is hard to turn as you press left and nothing happens or even right and most other mechanics just with moving around 100% would play this again, but only if controls are better, and I had maybe a DS again can’t wait for GTA6.
