App does what it wants. I keep getting news flashes of old articles I already read. I also can easily navigate to certain articles. There seem to be 2 main options for navigation but it’s hard to find your way away from those 2 pages. Can’t always open images up to see captions. Sometimes when you click on a news flash in the live updates it takes you to whatever it fancies showing you. The writing gets 4.5 out of 5 but the app gets 0!
Negatives: doesn’t work off line, constant adverts despite it not being free (more than one while reading one article), often closes, poor to navigate, articles so long it’s hard to tell the difference between facts and opinion. Positive: audio versions of articles available
I have a subscription and the app but if I click a link in an email, the page opens in my browser with an opportunity to pay for a subscription but no link to open in app or even ‘log in’. Going to the app then searching for the relevant page is not what I pay for
I like the content but the app doesn’t open properly on my iPad - only a partial screen
It is a shame the app crashes on opening.
Not happy that Spotify is shut down if I open this app. There is no need for this under normal circumstances. So what is the purpose? And the ability to comment on articles and other comments has recently gone very buggy.

I have a Haaretz subscription and the app used to be great and a much easier way to move around the site on my phone or iPad than via the website. In the last week or so however the app has stopped working with just my phone and will only work if I’m connected to the internet, which is very frustrating. Support don’t seem able to solve it so I’ll probably stop my subscription as this was my main way of using it. ...................................................... Quick update - the tech people helped me sort the issue out quickly so I’m back to giving it 5 stars.
It makes me renter my details one time in two, I find that very annoying. Why can’t they just remember my details?
My only complaint is that the price makes it inaccessible to people on low income/students etc. Curiosity finally got the better of me so I’ve signed up for a month
