Hades - NETFLIX

The dialogue is great, the game play is great, the picture is great, just a gosh darn great game, gosh darn it.

When will your games be on the Chinese market? I'm looking forward to it.

I’d love to just talk about how incredible the gameplay of this game is. Unfortunately, it pretty routinely loses my progress on a run, forcing me to start back at the very beginning again. For a game like this, that loss of progress is infuriating. Example: I was playing, and was about ~40 minutes into a run. I let the game for a moment to text a friend. When I returned to the game, it booted me back to the home screen, and had lost all the progress I had made on my last session. It’s really hard to play a game like this when your progress can be wiped out like that. Instead of playing Hades on iOS, I’d strongly suggest getting it on other platforms that don’t have these issues with losing progress.

Game is fantastic, the only problem i have is how repetitive it is. You play, you get very far, you die, then you have to start from the beginning. Makes the game a little boring having to start all over again all the time from the beginning. But other than that i guess its part of the challenge of the game as Hades is trying to escape the real but his father wont allow it and makes it difficult for him to leave.

This is one of the best games I’ve seen in a long time. From what I’ve seen from the port it is MADE for mobile. You should be like blasphemy and release a one time buy copy that isn’t subscription based.

Good port of one of my favorite games! My only criticism of this is that I am unable to listen to the sound without headphones. When my AirPods die I put them in the case, and then with the game I don’t hear anything even with the volume all the way app. This hasn’t happened with any other app.

The game is incredibly fun thus far (I’m in the 2nd area). Controls work fantastically, environments and characters are lush and gorgeous. I love the art style. And the Netflix authentication feature works incredibly well. So great! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Edit: lost another save from the last level of Elysium :( I’m enjoying this game but the game keeps losing my saves. I’ve tried playing with and without cloud saves on, but I’ve lost progress on both cloud and local saves. Even if I deliberately hit save and quit, I end up at the weapon selection room, sometimes during a previous run. Having to restart a run after the first boss is discouraging, so I can’t imagine how it’d feel if I lost it farther into a run. Please fix this issue!

First time playing hades and this game has had me in a chokehold. Amazing game, controls are solid (I don’t understand the complaints, they’re pretty good ngl), gameplay is MAGNIFICENT (genuinely the best gameplay I’ve ever played on mobile), story is pretty good, and the voice acting and dialogue are INCREDIBLE. This game is a masterpiece.

This is an amazing port of the original game and I really love it. I saved my review until I pretty much beat the epilogue and I have really only nitpicks 1. The default joystick control is great, but for me I wish there was a control scene where the joystick wasn’t completely fixed on touch, as your finger can drift away from the center of where you originally pressed and you can end up moving rightward when you intended to move downward, etc. Just a personal thing 2. There are some minor bugs: Opening the keepsakes container sometimes leaves the shine texture from the chthonic companions on the screen after closing until room transition. Once the Elysium bosses start doing the shockwave attack, I noticed that sometimes after the Bull Horn attack the Bull remains in the windup for the attack after throwing the other guy for a couple seconds. 3. Other minor things: it would be nice to treat Poseidon’s boon where you get a bunch of loot as prioritized over a door, because sometimes if you pick that boon near a door you can end up leaving when you intended to pick everything up.
