Halide is the Apple Design Award winning camera app with over 10,000 reviews!
The most powerful camera for iPhone with the most elegant, simple design — A pro camera for everyone.
Perfect for deliberate and thoughtful photography - for beginners and experts alike. Get started with our included 10 days of photography lessons to get up to speed, or enjoy Macro photography on any iPhone with our Neural Macro feature. With high-end tools, and a beautiful interface designed from scratch for the latest iPhones and inspired by the controls of professional cameras, Halide is your go-to camera when you want to really take a photo rather than a quick snapshot.
Use gestures in Halide to change exposure and manual focus with a swipe, or switch from its powerful automatic mode to manual shooting.
Halide’s professional tools are the most powerful in the App Store, with XDR (Extended Dynamic Range) 14-bit RAW streaming waveform views, color zebras, focus assists like focus peaking and loupe, histograms, an adaptive level grid, and manual depth capture. Customize controls to adapt the app to your needs.
Halide’s control is unmatched. Shoot without any of Apple’s image processing with our minimal, film-like Process Zero — or use Apple Processing for HEIC / JPG shots and ProRAW. Our ProRAW support* is unmatched. Strike the right balance between file size and editing latitude by choosing between 12-bit and 10-bit ProRAW and megapixel options. Effortlessly switch to native RAW, for greater detail and speed.

Halide Mark II Reviews

Brings out the best of the iPhone

Toomas J. on

Estonia

This camera app is a cherry on top the excellent hardware and adds features missing from the stock camera app. Superior image quality, fast and accurate AF that can be manually adjusted. Nice UI and simple user experience. Money well spent.

Nice controls and good results

P.Raimond on

Estonia

You may have to get used with the controls and it will take some time but otherwise it’s a powerful tool for your iPhone.

Absolutely the best camera app for iPhone!

Joonas1233 on

Estonia

I love the interface and simplicity of it. The design is modern and functional. Must have if you want to create more than just snapshots.

Good application

josephd7379 on

I like taking pictures with Halide, alignment/levelling features are extremely useful. However I’d like to be able to take long exposure pictures. Settings interface popover sheet seems visually outdated, reminds me skeuomorphic apps made in 2010. Changing picture aspect/crop ratio before taking a picture would also be a nice feature.

bad

not worth it.

Telephoto isolation

Kslpghpa on

United States

Will this app allow me to isolate the telephoto lens on my iPhone 16 Pro Max? I want to use it for digiscoping bird photography.

Doesn’t even work.

Setting manual shutter and iso appears to work but when you go to photos and look at the meta data, not the same.

Hidden $1.99 subscription *update

Stephsmitty0316 on

United States

When you first log in your only options are $19.99 a year or $59.99 one time. You have to subscribe to $19.99 to get the 7 day free trial then you have to go to iCloud subscriptions to see the $1.99 monthly subscription. This is messed up as the developers are hiding the cheap price. For the features, the app should be $1.99 for one-time. $59 is stupid expensive. *update from developer* They say it’s a limitation from the App Store. No it’s not! Other apps don’t hide cheaper options on the iCloud subscription, this is one of a few apps does this. To the developers, be open about your prices! We know it’s not free. Don’t hide the $1.99 from us.

Just charge money

Kyle Whirl on

United States

Don’t offer this app for free only to lock all features behind a paywall. So tired of this developer nonsense for apps that require no server costs and are charging $20 a month for a camera!!! Your phone has an app built in! This app isn’t worth the control. There are plenty of free options that perform just as well

Just put the price in the App Store

Hawkeye1387 on

United States

Such a scam. ‘Free app! Just pay use yearly to keep using it.’ Idk who came up with this business model or who is dumb enough to fall for it. Can’t even try it since there isn’t a demo or trial period. Edit: The developers response that there is a 7 day trial is lacking. The description claims that a trial exists however the response to the review and the description omit a link to the trial. Which makes me repeat my claim: this is a scam.
