This app doesn’t show proper results
If your searching for an entry level position in a certain city it will show you jobs which require master degrees and 10+ years of experience in a different country. It make it almost impossible to find a job/internship that suits your needs especially if your in college.
login in
What I don't like about this app is that when signing in , you have to login with your school email instead of your own , we should have the option to sign in or login in with our personal email
Literally a repost website for tik toks
My whole feed is reposted tik toks
Horrible App with a Horrible Bug
I hate this app with a passion. Not due to its contents but the application itself. A few weeks ago I noticed my battery draining quickly and when I checked, this app had been running in the background for around 10 hours when I never even touched it! So I deleted the app and downloaded it again a week or so ago to give it another chance. Today I noticed my battery was draining again, and sure enough when I checked this app had been running in the background for more than 8 hours. Fix this!!! I’ve deleted the app for good now
Buggy application
The application is buggy in iphone 14 pro
Complete Trash!!!
Why am I getting jobs outside of my filtered preferences? Why are so many of these job posting fake, expired, or you consistently have to go to third party websites to go through the arduous process of filling out all the information that you’ve taken all the time to fill out on Handshake?! What was the purpose of filling out all that information on Handshake if you have to go to third-party websites just to do it all over again this is so stupid! I think this is a great app for undergraduates or graduate students straight out with little to no professional experience but anyway looking with years of professional experience and multiple degrees like myself…this is not for us. There’s a $35 charge for alumni to utilize Handshake…please don’t waste your money! If I could give 0 stars, I would!

Great app and jobs!!
App browser needs improvement
The app itself is great, laid out well with meaningful suggested content. However, it uses its own in app browser to apply for positions that can’t be done in the app itself, which leads to compatibility problems with more than a handful of larger sites (usps for example). It really needs the option to use the system web browser instead of the app. This ruins the experience for those cases.
Limited Accessibility for City University of Seattle Students
I recently attempted to use Handshake to explore job opportunities, a platform known for its utility in connecting students with potential employers. Unfortunately, I encountered a significant hurdle: my institution, City University of Seattle, is not recognized or listed within the app. This exclusion is a substantial drawback, as it restricts access to the resources and opportunities that Handshake provides, which are valuable for students' career growth. While the concept of Handshake is promising, the lack of inclusivity for all universities diminishes its potential benefits. Therefore, I am rating it 1 out of 5 stars, primarily due to this limitation. I hope to see improvements in the future that will include a wider range of institutions, ensuring all students can benefit equally from what Handshake has to offer.
Overall excellent
Easy to navigate. I find the pc version to be better though.
