Harambee is a highly personalize support-building structure that builds the ability and agency of historically marginalized communities form the grassroots level to the institutional level.
The App provides formal and informal interactions among individuals involved with social and environmental issues as being affected or solving the problem.
The Harambee App incorporates a multidimensional approach that is practiced by African American women in the face of intersectionality, which can help them build resiliency between individuals and toward the institutional level. The interaction through the App further helps in building awareness and resiliency around the social impacts of climate change.
