Haslum Handball Club was founded on May 1, 1999, and has been one of the major names in Norwegian men's handball since then.
Haslum Handball Club is, and has been, Norway's leading handball club in talent development. This is a role we at Haslum HK wish to continue to hold. This year, we have one of the largest junior departments in the country, with over 60 players today. In the long term, we aim to have teams in the Rema 1000 League, the 1st Division, and the 2nd Division to ensure the development of as many players as possible. Through our new focus on recruitment, we aim to contribute to a boost for men's handball in Norway.
The 2024/2025 season brings a new head coach for Haslum HK, as Ole-Jacob Borch takes over the role. Ole-Jacob brings coaching experience from ROS IL in the 1st Division over the past two seasons. He has been with ROS IL for a total of seven seasons, both as a player and coach. We look forward to seeing Ole-Jacob leave his mark on Haslum.
