I get why but it’s scummy.
This app was a great help when I wanted more help understanding lighting for art studies, but it has suddenly stopped working and I cannot rotate, pivote or move the models at all. Tried closing and reopening, resetting everything and even uninstalling and reinstalling won’t work. Quite disappointed now
I wish there was a demo to see the premium content before buying. I want to buy the premium but I’m not sure it’s worth it without trying it first
seriously, most apps i’ve known that have later changed free features to paid have had the decency to compensate long time users. instantly deleted
It's a great app, don't get me wrong, but there's no real Loomis model in the free version and to have so much of the basic functionality locked behind a very expensive pay-wall seems dishonest. Currently it charges £9 for a years usage (not value for money in this context and the mist sensible option for anyone considering a purchase is to pay a massive £25 to for a "lifetime" (of the app) license. It's brilliantly designed and written, and not by some huge evil dirty corporation either. However, there needs to be a proper Loomis model in the free stage (there isn't one) to mitigate the pricing issue and the addition of a £2.50 tier, to unlock the real Loomis head, would really help.
I’ve only had this app for only a short amount of time and I have to say I am very much impressed with the software, it feels clean, it’s smooth and it overall has a professional look. Though you are very limited to the amount of models that you can use for the free version, it does the job for me as an Artist. There is an option of buying a one year subscription or a lifetime subscription (both of which are a one time purchase.) I only give this four stars as I only have one suggestion to the developer, perhaps offering a short trial for this app would be a great choice so as people can test the full capabilities of this app without basing their opinions on just the very very limited models. Still this is a great app and I heavily recommend. Thank you developers, you’ve made a wonderful app :)
This app not free everything locked unless you bye 1 year subscription for 10 or life for 25 ish I hate app like this
Youve seen the videos on yiutube, maybe got the books. This app embodies everything you need to study and practice drawing heads and necks, plus anatomy and some old sculptures. You can pose, adjust lighting and have various levels of detail. Team up with procreate or similar and you can really powerup your anatomy and head drawing and painting.
I wanted to make my own osaris clay head. Just what I needed.
