Description

Health CSV Importer is the easiest, fastest, and most reliable way to import your CSV data into Apple Health. The import logic has been battle-tested with millions of data points and will support almost any CSV you throw at it. Health CSV Importer supports all quantity data types in Apple Health, except Activity Summaries, Stand Hours, Exercise Time, and Nike Fuel.

To see how easy it is, just watch the preview video (no sound). Note: while we use iCloud Drive in the preview video, iCloud Drive does not need to be enabled in order to perform an import. If you would prefer not to use iCloud Drive, just send the CSV to yourself in Mail.app and open it with Health CSV Importer.

Health CSV Importer integrates with the HealthKit framework and Health.app to import your CSV files.

Great App - missing entry categories

F_92@ on

Great functionality! But some catego ies of health data are missing, such as Insulin. Could you update the list of possible entries to the currently available categories in Apple Health, please?

Formats issue

Xelag12 on

It would be great to give some documentation about the date formats to use and to notify the user about the decimal issue (use . and NOT ,) ... instead of having to mail your support (quick response by the way) Without knowing the decimal issue, it can corrupt the data the user has imported. Please, add a notification about it! And without knowing which formats to use, it’s quite blocking

Improve please

adamhosman on

I really appreciate the fact that this even works and I was able to reuse my data from before. However, neither the process nor the result is ideal. If you have data formatted in a way it doesn’t understand (eg. date as “YYYY. MM. DD.” which is not one of the stranger formats out there, in my opinion) it will just fail and tell you to email support instead of showing you some documentation on what the acceptable formats are. So you either email them and wait, or try changing the format around, blindly, until it succeeds. This is just silly and I can’t imagine why they chose this approach. And there are data formats it thinks it understands but doesn’t really, so it imports them incorrectly. For example, it stripped all decimal points from my weight records because they were formatted as “12,3” instead of “12.3” (we use commas as decimal separators in Europe). So I lost some detail in my data. I could delete them one by one, re-format the CSV and import again, but there are hundreds of records so this is entirely unfeasible. So thank you guys for making this app, but please improve it. Provide documentation for acceptable formats, and provide a preview of what the imported data would look like before actually performing the import. These would avoid all of the problems mentioned before and make the app extremely nice.
