Sync data between fitness apps

Published by: appyhapps.nl

Description

Health Sync synchronizes data between health and fitness apps. This Health Sync version for iOS has limited functionality, which will be expanded in the coming months. Health Sync currently supports syncing from Apple Health, Huawei Health, Garmin Connect, Strava and Fitbit to Apple Health, Fitbit, Intervals.icu, Runalyze and Strava. Additional source and destination apps will be added with future updates.
It will sync data from the time you first use the app. Historical data (all data before the day of installation) can be synced after the free trial period. With Garmin Connect you can sync the last five years of activity data, and the last two years of other data (steps, sleep, heart rate etc.).
The sync runs automatically in the background a few times per hour (due to iOS restrictions on background processes). Activity GPS data is synced to Apple Health when the phone screen is unlocked. If activity data is synced while the phone is locked, Health Sync will add the GPS data to the Apple Health workout data the next time you open the Health Sync app.
Syncing from Apple Health requires your phone to be unlocked.
Health Sync is very easy to use. It offers a one-week free trial period. After the trial period, you can make a one-time purchase (lifetime license) to continue using the app and access the historical data sync option.
Try the app and see if it fits your needs. The data you can sync depends on the source app from which you sync data and the destination app(s) to which you sync the data.
Health Sync uses a privacy-by-design approach. The sync processes data on your phone, not on cloud servers. Your data won't be used and can't be accessed by others. Read the privacy policy for details.
Syncing between health data apps sometimes doesn't work as expected. Don't worry; almost all issues can be solved easily. You can check the Help Center menu in Health Sync. If you can't resolve the issue, you can send a Health Sync problem report (the last option in the Help Center menu) or email [email protected]. You will receive support to solve the sync issue.

I requested a feature to track distance for Spinning on Fitbit. Fitbit doesn’t have the capability to track natively. The developer was always quick to respond to me and was very helpful! 1 week later, and they released an update including the feature I suggested! I’m so happy!

Sync from Fitbit to Apple health is not working

Edit: deleting the app, restarting the phone & reinstalling this app fixed this problem I have setup a health sync from Fitbit to Apple health for heart rate, sleep, steps and oxygen saturation. However, Apple Health shows that this app has permissions to write only sleep. It has read permissions for everything else. I have disconnected and reconnected the heart rate sync from Fitbit to Apple health, but it does not ask for additional permissions to write to Apple health

Great but some issues

I needed to sync my food and nutrition stats from apple health to Fitbit and the data coming over isn’t completely accurate. There are some calories that are “uncategorized” when showing up in the Fitbit app making my macros off. What I really want is to be able to sync my nutrition data from the LoseIt! app to Trainerize. That’s a huge market hole if you’d like to do that please!! But for now I’m going from LoseIt -> Apple Health -> HealthSync -> Fitbit -> Trainerize. Trainerize connects to Apple health but won’t pull the nutrition data from it :( Anyways, the data is correct in Apple health but not in Fitbit so I can only assume it’s this app. If the macros/nutrition facts of the foods themselves could be synced, I think that would solve the problem. From a software dev to another, thank you and plz fix this soon! <3

Has potential

I’ve been trying to get this to work for over a hour and just not getting it. Tried googling and YouTubing, Connect app just doesn’t show up on my iPhone to sync data to Samsung health.

Great app. Well done. I was never able to sync my Huawei activities with Apple Health and consequently with Apple Fitness. This app solved my problem. Thank you very much.
