HeartBug Reviews

Amazing experience

Artiecrafty on

Australia

This is the second time using HeartBug with amazing experience! It stayed connected most of the time even downstairs! Prompt& great communication with the team, kept me updated with postage arrival and report status! Really easy, practical and efficient monitor! The only issue was skin reaction to the patches! Have to keep changing them and shifting locations! Next time I will order sensitive patches. Thank you Hearbug team for your amazing and friendly product and support.

Poor performance, poor support

Niah Pilou on

Australia

As per other reviews, the app regularly loses connectivity and the support is unhelpful and often rude. The drop outs are frequent and unpredictable and even occur while maintaining the functional parameters the developers claim (5m). There is no administrative support except for standard responses which are delivered in a rude, almost dismissive manner at times. The option to make a recording when a notable event occurs is potentially valuable, however, there’s no guarantee that it does so when you request it. Nothing about this system instills confidence and it’s simply not worth the time, money and effort required to make up for the Developer’s shortfalls.

Easy

Thanks for this app where I can enter symptoms quickly and get replies to my questions. Would be good if I could use it on my Apple Watch so I didn’t have to keep my phone so close

Keeps disconnecting

MissedAppointment on

Australia

I have to wear this for 4 weeks. What's the point of suffering through the itchiness and discomfort if it's just going to keep disconnecting. Tonight is the third or fourth time where the device just refuses to connect. Tried everything in the app and followed all the instructions, still refuses to record 🤡

Data to be stored in SSD

With all this issues of connection i suggest the data to be stored in SSD and at the same time monitor via bluetooth. With the advancement in chip i think the permanent storage will not take too much space

Connection failures

Fookes iTunes on

Australia

Yeah just like everyone else. Constant connection failures. Always having to reset it and by the time I do that the feelings that I want to record are no longer happening. Even tho they take note of what your heart was doing 20 seconds before and 60 seconds after you select the recording but it’s takes longer then 20 seconds to reset and wait for it to reconnect. I think it might be because the app is always open but not always staying connected and refreshing within itself and I’ve checked my phone settings for this Great device but if I can’t record what’s happening to me it might be the very missing step to solving my issue. Such a important thing I need to keep checking but this is just making me fusrated The customer service people are absolutely awesome though and very helpful for what they can do

So many issues

emilyglover81 on

Australia

The device stays apparently “connected” via Bluetooth but is “unable to be located” by the app. I’ve had to remove, reset (with fork prongs) and re-site the device multiple times and I’ve only had it on for 1 of the 4 expected weeks. The combination of the device and the app just doesn’t do what’s it’s intended to do without significant involvement by the wearer (frequently interacting with support staff via text, phone and email). If I were less tech-savvy, there’d be no way I could troubleshoot this annoying app and device. I’m not sure what the solution is but this is currently (and is expected to be for 3 more weeks) a frustrating and irritating app and device.

Useless app - hardly helpful staff

Boodicooperhorisawesome on

Australia

Make a recording comes on and off. Very rarely works when I need it to. Ask for help and just says “make sure everything is connected properly. At least response rate from staff is reasonable - although give same information as app.

overpriced device useless app

Ivana_tinkle_69 on

Australia

the device is so cheap yet so expensive the app is very basic options when making a recording is very limited and you only can select one so if you have more than one symptom your out of luck you only get one choice when you check to make sure its working the heart rhythm is all over the place for a “medical device” it really is a joke

Inconsistent

1brorabbit on

Australia

App works intermittently. “Make a recording” works maybe every 3rd time of you are lucky. Menus options for “make a recording” change or don’t appear. Technical support have little understanding of how the app works and are less than interested in the issue you present them with and more interested in telling you “you are doing really well” when you are calling them to tell them their app is not working and you are trying to manage cardiac inconsistencies.
