If you love hearts of space this app is a must. It would be nice if the subscriptions could be paid for through the users iTunes account.
Did you remove the ability to turn off the voiceover? Update: you keep removing features unless people subscribe. It’s one thing to offer incentives to subscribe but you keep taking things away that used to be available with basic service. It’s really disappointing. According to HOS I can turn off the voiceover in the mini player but when I try to do so I get a message saying to please subscribe in order to access features like turning off voiceover.
I’m glad to see the app has improved. I hope they continue it. There are still a few rough edges - like it stops streaming occasionally - but worth using.
Weekly programs of ambient, electronic, new age, world, and other music based on a theme. I have been a listener since the first program. After getting a full subscription, this app gives you complete access to the whole repertoire. The current version now supports CarPlay!!! I also use this app on my Mac with Apple Silicon.
Like so many others, I’ve d this Channel before it was a channel and have surely found so many great artists playing this genre of great music utilizing technology to get some great and interesting sounds, grooves, and at times haunting melodies. That being said, and I’m now going to dive super deep into Nerd-dom,… I’d love to have a widget of HOS (large) on my phone. 🤓🤓🤓✌🏽✌🏽🤣
Please Get this app to work! Fully subscribed and every time I try to launch it asks me to subscribe.
Love Hearts of Space (wearing the long-sleeve tee right now! Enjoy the journey!) Love the app Only thing I don’t love is support for AirPlay but not casting audio to Android devices. There are just too many of those around (aside from cost of Apple audio doodads) for this to be a good idea. My workaround is an app called Replica which is normally for screen mirroring but also will “screen” audio to eg a Chromecast Audio, of which I have a bunch. But it’s a hacky, fiddly fix. iOS apps aren’t prevented from casting - Pandora et al do it fine. Please, from the far universe, supplement AirPlay with audio casting
Love the music, love the app. Such a fantastic library. This has mellowed out many a lovely evening.
I have been a long time listener and found this program on the local WFYI radio station in Indianapolis Indiana, Sundays at 10pm and I never missed. Then, I moved away and was sad until I discovered the app. I didn’t mind the old version, but the new version is much better. HOS brings me new music I would have never found otherwise, and has been a real treat over the years. Don’t forget to purchase a coffee mug for those cold, rainy days. Stephen Hill and the rest of the HOS team, THANK YOU.
