Description

HeartStar is the easiest app for monitoring blood pressure. With optional sharing and reminders, Health app support, and custom goals, there's no better way to stay on top of your blood pressure.

MEASURE
• Automatically record blood pressure from compatible Bluetooth Smart blood pressure meters including A&D, Oregon Scientific, HoMedics, Samico, Pyle.
• Manually enter readings from any blood pressure monitor — no Bluetooth required.
• Add notes to help you remember what you were doing at the time.
• Note: the HeartStar app does not itself measure blood pressure — a separate blood pressure monitor is required — no app can accurately measure your blood pressure without a blood pressure cuff.

STAY MOTIVATED
• Create reminders to help you remember to measure your blood pressure on a regular basis.
• Set achievable goals tailored to your particular situation
• Get immediate, personalized feedback on your readings and progress.
• Collect HeartStar points! When you record a new measurement, you will be rewarded with points based on how that measurement helps you reach your goals. HeartStar points give you a new way to measure your overall progress. A steady increase in points means you're consistently recording your blood pressure and making good progress toward your goals. Challenge yourself to reach the next level!

GRAPH and ANALYZE
• Visualize patterns in your blood pressure history to help you understand your activity patterns.

SYNC and SHARE
• Sync readings to and from Apple's Health app
• Share your history and reports with your family or physician: HeartStar makes it easy to communicate your results to the people you want. Plus, download your history so you always have a copy on hand.
• Import and export measurements

MULTI-USER
• Use HeartStar with the whole family — it's easy to add new users and switch between users.

HELP and FEEDBACK
• Help and customer support built into the app — just tap the Info button — we're here for you and love hearing from you.

Thank you for helping make HeartStar number one!

Perfect.

KSFLJang on

I simple and basic app that records exactly what it need and shows averages/statistics. It’s a great little tracker. I didn’t want an app that does too much as the more there is to log then the more there is to instill fear in thinking you arent healthy!! It’s perfect for what i needed.

Nurse review

Daisy&Woody on

What a great app!! Yes of course it has limitations at the end of the day it is only an app and not your Dr, Specialist, Nurse, Cardiologists, etc. but I love the fact: It reminds me twice a week to check my BP (as set by me) It enables me to record my BP and P and send a report by email, if and when I want to to whoever I want/need to let know what my BP P is. It may tell me I’m pre-hypertensive when I know that I’m not but it is a marvellous way/place to record your BP and then share it with your medical team Thank you whoever developed this handy little app!!

Insecure

St0lly on

The app is ok, but on restoring my phone's data from backup onto a new phone I find that I am seeing other people's data. I raised this with the software company and got no reply. It's terrible that health data is insecure in this way.

Really good but can't sync with Apple Heath app in iOS 9

Leisure Hat on

The GUI is really intuitive & easy to navigate. It makes manually recording & updating data simple. The biggest issue I have is that I was not able to configure the app to sync with Apple's Health app: I'm using iOS 9.1 & it says that the Health app is only available in iOS 8.

Good app... but

'sup dude on

I have a BP machine that stores BP and pulse but no way to see in a simple exportable graph in apple health. This imports that info and shows it in a graph and I can export. But why not import the pulse rate too? Please add option to import heart rate and then 5 stars for sure!

Great app!

Works well, syncs with Apple Health, let's you import and export, does the job well. Graphs are fairly plain, and could do with iPad version. Good value!

Forget it

Appinteragator on

Dont bother with this app, doesnt measure heart rate. Just wants you to put your own systolic & Diastolic and pulse in yourself and scores you on it.. Rubbish!

Very good app
