I signed up and paid for the £2.99 one week VIP service. The money went out of my bank account and Apple customer service said they could see it, however the app didn’t accept it and denied that I’d paid anything. Not a lot of money but the “international customer service” was slow and all in Chinese. Dodgy app. Avoid 😂
The emphasis now is just to have constant live streaming of people talking about nothing so they can earn coins.
Whilst there is a handful of lovely people, I’ve found the app to be more customised around live streaming ( which is entertaining ) and dating. I’ve been on the app for three days, and have had hundreds of explicit messages from men from all over the world. Not to mention I actually don’t think the app has restrictions on age either, so be very cautious with who you are talking too; this is not an app for children what so ever. I am 30, and found the moments to contain, people searching for intimate video calls. ( not for me ) I’m there to exchange language and I’m yet to find a suitable learning partner for this. Having said this, the app can be fun. You can receive gifts from other users that you can exchange for real money, so live streaming is good for this. Overall so far I’ve not relent decided if I like it or not, I guess time will tell.
I've been using Hello Pal for quite a few months and it has always been an enjoyable experience. The social aspect of this app has been really helpful for me to learn more about my target language and culture.
Hello Pal is a fantastic way to connect with other language learners across the world. I find it very enjoyable, interesting and educational. I'd totally recommend this app.
It's everything they promised in the description and yet I'm amazed by how good this app is. I only started using this app a month ago and my Spanish has already improved a lot. Very recommended.
This is such an interesting concept. With this app I'm finally improving my German since I don't know any native speakers where I live and this method is way more effective than any traditional learning tool.
In my opinion something like Hello Pal is essential for all language learners today. You connect to other language learners like yourself all over the globe and they'll help you practice in their native language. A very powerful learning tool.
Instead of wasting the time with games or other apps I decided to learn a new language during the quarantine and for that purpose I decided to install Hello Pal and give it a try. It has been a terrific experience, my Spanish has improved quite fast and I've made two new friends. What else could I ask for?
This is an amazing app! You can meet a lot of people from all over the world, learn about their culture and practice with them any language you're interested in learning. I love it!
