CrApple Strikes Again
With every update fixing their brainfart iOS code, they keep breaking things.
Muppets
DNS lookups broken
The latest update appears to have broken DNS lookups - nothing happens when you press Go.
All other tools seem OK.
Great app but the iperf tool doesn’t work
I like your app, it is a nicely balanced set of network tools. Unfortunately, the iperf3 tool does not work very well. Often it does not start after I hit go. Sometimes it only runs 1 second although I configured 10 s or 30 s. Could you look into that, please?
First class
Indispensable utility. Works really well. They responded quickly and fixed a bug I reported.
Very useful
Great tool especially for free!
Bugs fixed
Great to see the previous bugs experienced on iOS 10 fixed.
Incredibly useful
Every network inspection utility you might need in one place with no crap and no hidden agenda. The transfer of several popular CLI tools to a touch interface also works better than you might expect. The "links" between utilities are really useful too.
The obvious crash bugs from the previous version seem to have been squashed, still some odd pauses and minor interface inconsistency on my iPhone5 but generally pretty stable.
Quite a Swiss Army knife, IPv6-complete. IPad
This clean and comprehensive app has got it all, tools for the LAN, usual Internet tools, netstat and tools relating to the state of the OS, I don't know where to start listing all the functions. IPv6 is universally supported which is extremely refreshing. The app remembers addresses and domain names that have been recently used, a good time-saver. If you can think of it, it's probably got it. It doesn't go as far as BGP-related functions, for that you need HE's excellent tools on the web. Strongly recommended. [It is a first-class citizen on the iPad, not an iPhone-mode app.] Tested 2015-11, on iPad 6 (64-bit) under iOS 9.1.
Doesn't work
Connects to server, sends 1 packet and immediately crashes. Tested on two iPhones (6 and 5s)
Seems good
Seemingly good set of tools but iPerf3 fails with "operation not permitted".
