Heroes and Castles

I played this in middle school years ago. Back then everyone was trying to beat the harder levels and it was renown as a more difficult strategy defense game. To this day it is more challenging than pretty much any other game. The currency you can buy in the game is comparatively dirt cheap for the amount of ease it’ll bring you. $5 and you’re set. I absolutely adore everything about it, if you enjoy a challenging, fun, interactive and satisfying game: this is the one to buy.

I’ve loved this game and always come back to it, there really needs to be a console version or a remaster on steam or even for mobile. I would gladly spend top dollar to play this with updated graphics and new games modes. These guys need more love than they’ve gotten for this game alone.

There is barely any one who plays it and it’s kinda boring to play with yourself.

And not aggravating for the right reasons; an issue I had previously talked about is that certain Corte missions (I think specifically round 9) will delete your gold mines — even if your walls are up and there are no archers or goblin bombers. Gold mines will intermittently just destroy themselves, making an otherwise challenging round frustratingly difficult as your money is being garnished by the game code by 100’s of coins at a time. Another feature, and I’m not sure if this is on purpose, but the enemy units in Siege get progressively more difficult. I believe they have the same upgrade level as your normal units. That could be interesting if we had an option for regular play, but dealing with all maxed-out troops is, again, frustrating, as most of your rounds will end by either being one-shotted from a ballista, or being knocked into a pile of pikemen and being instagibbed. Actual ‘hero’ play becomes immediate suicide after about five minutes unless you’re playing a maxed-out mummy champion.

One of the best childhood games I’ve ever played

Every time I try to play versus with my friend, the game boots both of us off. We even played coop as well and it kicked us off after 5-10 minutes. We played again and we seemed to get farther without the game booting us, other than that I like the game. Please fix, thank you!!
