Heroes Rise: The Prodigy

I decided to write a review for this particular game because the story is just amazing. It is the best one to date in my opinion; the choices really felt like I was given some sort of ultimatum, and the storyline wasn't littered with unnecessary information that, unfortunately, appears ever so often in the other Choice of XX games. I loved the characters too. The way they were fleshed out makes me think that they could really exist, be it the villain or the protagonist's best friend. TLDR; it's an amazing game/story. Finished the game in one sitting, and I'm definitely playing it again. <3

Oh how much time I have spent on this game... I'm the kind of person that needs to see all possible endings, and I've replayed this game many time over to achieve that. Really addictive.

Good story and just about the right amount interactiveness. I loved that I'm free to affect the hero's ultimate ending by the choices I make and the people I choose to side with. Great story from Choice of Games. Worth the dollars I spent on it.

I’ve now played through this twice, once a few years ago and again yesterday. It’s just so gosh darned fun!

I got this book on a whim and I couldn’t stop reading it. I enjoyed every part of the story. If you like solo adventure story’s then get this series of books.

By far the best text-based game I’ve played. I’ve been playing this game since it first came out it gives me just the right amount of entertainment when I have nothing else to do or just to pass/waste time when I’m busy.

As far as writing and plot goes, this game would be worth the price even without being able to alter the course of the story. With that ability? One of the best, most enjoyable games I have played.

Whereas Choice of Robots, Choice of Magics, Tin Star, and Choice of Rebels offer nuanced, well-flushed-out, fascinating adventures, Heroes Rise is comparatively juvenile and silly. The Superlatives offers a vastly superior superhero text adventure.
