This app is really cool. It helped me learn the game quickly. Unfortunately, its not always responsive, taking back a turn doesn’t always work. Sometimes my characters can’t use their weapons to attack and there is no way to fix that. I have to start over. It’s really frustrating. Hopefully now that there will me an entry level version, Hasbro/Avalon can address these things.

Love it

This app not only makes HQ a 1 or 2-player game, it adds a sense of ambience and character through the sound and narration. There are some quirks, like the enemy ai (in new versions they attack then walk away), but overall this app is excellent. My greatest wish for the app would be the option for customization: as small as renaming enemy types or replacing their images/stats, or as grand as a quest builder. I imagine many folks like us customize their games no end—it would be incredible to bring those into the app

Ogre Horde implementation?

When??

Really like, but…

Really enjoying that I can play this game solo now, but please make it possible to move each Hero without counting each step. This way I could play the game more on the board, than the app. It would allow me to only use the app right before a Zargon encounter, or before spawning a new area/doors/traps/etc. it would make it quicker to update the current board status on the app. The app should only be necessary when it’s necessary.

No offline mode

This app is pretty good. But it lacks an offline mode. I’m able to download all the maps , but once I go offline it shows I need to redownload all of them. Other than that the app works well.

Digital Zargon!

Finally after years of always being Zargon, I can now be an adventurer and let the app be Zargon! That alone is worth it to me. I think the app is great so far. Looking forward to Orge Horde expansion to be added soon. Glad to see the developers are still updating the app.

Last update not so good

Worked fine, but now the monsters are ignoring furniture. They cross through tables, stand in the fireplace, and generally go places they should not.

Add the knight card from ROTDM

Love the app! Allows me to play with my kids.

Love the app (love the game too, have all expansions). It allows me to play with my friends and our two kids as one of the heroes. The app works pretty well and thus far no issues for me playing the basic quests. The narration is cool and my son gets excited whenever he hears Zargon say ‘The [name of monster] has been defeated. With that being said a couple of improvement ideas for later upgrades: 1. A version for Windows: would love to use this on the laptop rather than iPhone. When we get together to play. 2. Ability create our own quests. I know there will always be limitations to the software as homebrewing and creating quests can be quite imaginative in a way software can’t emulate, but it would definitely be nice to at least create a quest using available heroes, monsters, traps, and add notes to rooms for treasure searches. 3. Add ability to play additional heroes (more than 4). 4. Lastly a ‘line of sight’ button or feature would be useful. There are workarounds but it would be nice to simply know if the dwarf can fire that cross or whatever. Anyways, great app. It looks good has a lot of flavor, and I’m looking forwarded using it more.
