Our family is very fond of Catan and we have always struggled to create fairs layouts with some sort of random element. I was already starting an algorithm when I found Hex Isle Map and VOILA! So easy to achieve a fair game with or without adjacent hexes! The seafarers layouts are also amazing. Thank you!

Simple interface large variety of generation options. The seafarers "New World" generator had a couple of the numbers wrong, but it's brought that to the devs attention and fixed. Couldn't be happier with the app.

This is easily the best Catan board generator app out there. It’s has a simple and straightforward interface that is laid out so you can pick a board quite easily and quickly. The ability to pick evenly or totally random generated boards is great, as is the feature to reveal the fog Island hexes. It makes playing these maps easier cause the set up is much quicker. If you aren’t interested in a in-app dice rolling app, then this is the gold standard for Catan board apps. Couldn’t be simpler or easier.

This is by far the best Catan map generator and I use it all the time with my gaming groups. You can set it for basic Catan or Seafarers, both with up to 6 players. Amazing job, congratulations!

This is the best Catan map generator on the app store.

I've used the other app for generating boards but this one is much cleaner faster and has the seafarer scenarios. My only complaint is there is no paid version to get rid of the ads.
