Edit: I will be leaving my review as one star until this glitch gets fixed. Level 13-3 glitches towards the middle of the level and you literally cannot move on to the next level. I actually love this game! So fun that it’s like platform combined with rhythm at the same time. I’m having a problem lately though that I will be playing and the app will glitch the screen but the sound continues to go… really annoying and frustrating because I can’t even play the level because it keeps glitching in the middle. I literally can’t move on till this is fixed…
Love the rhythm game, but can’t proceed sometimes on account of the screen freezing up mid-level for some reason.
Fun little rhythm game, but timings and button inputs are delayed for a few tracks (This coming from someone who has played a lot of rhythm games on both phone and pc). Don’t recommend for someone who wants to 100% everything. In order to collect every gear, you gotta replay a level multiple times and get the timing right to keep beat and avoid obstacles. This is very frustrating giving the delays and off beats some levels have. Doesn’t help that there is a bit too much going on sometimes that you sometimes miss a gear because a particle effect or explosion distracts you. Again fun but frustrating for those who like 100%-ing levels. Played this on an IPhone 12.
I strive for 100% clears. I can’t even 100% the first level with full mayhem activated because the timings are off. I even adjusted the controls and even tried mega buttons. It’s not precise which means you can’t hit everything. I’m not willing to proceed past the first lvl if I can’t 100% beat it. This should be easy as I’ve played many rythm games before. Swipe controls would make more sense but I’ll try it on my pc now. Don’t recommend for phone or ipad. I was on ipad 11 pro
1. You can adjust the placement of the buttons in the settings, but its still not responsive. 2. I expected way more for the graphics as on the PC it looks fine but on my iPhone SE it doesnt look so nice, even with the graphics adjusted. 3. TIMING. is. all over the place. Ive been playing music games like this for years and Im PRETTY sure Im pressing the right buttons, but the game isnt picking up on that. Ive let all my friends try it out and theyve agreed that its the buttons that are unresponsive. Please fix it. I love Ziggs and I've been waiting FOREVER for this game to come out on iPhone only to be met with a gameplay I can't enjoy, or can't play even. The game is hard, yes, but at least make the buttons respond to the game. Thank you.
I don’t know if it’s my phone or what but the delay is horrible.
This game is fun and surprisingly challenging, but I enjoy it. For everyone who is having trouble with the smaller buttons, there is an option in the accessibility to make specific zones trigger button presses (mega buttons). This said, the lack of save syncing is really annoying. I started on my iPad and wanted to enjoy it on my phone, but apparently that doesn’t work. Can y’all fix this? Maybe enable cross save with pc? I’d definitely buy it twice if that was an option.
We definitely need a control update More way toCustomize and especially at the swipe feature for this game the graphic should be improved and there should be more at Fps added for this game
Unfortunately I’m too cheap to buy the game elsewhere when it’s free via Netflix. This is an excellent rhythm game, but it’s bogged down by imprecise controls. The arrow buttons are situated at the left and rightmost edges of the screen and thus can be easy to miss. It’d be best if you could choose where to put those buttons on the screen for yourself, or if they were screen regions instead, but there are no control options like that. I probably miss inputs around 20% of the time which may not sound like a lot but it feels like all the time. Any missed input will usually lead to death, especially in later levels. Thankfully the game is actually quite forgiving with no game overs (at least from what I’ve encountered), and you don’t need to collect every single thing to progress. I definitely would NOT recommend this version to those that can’t enjoy something if they’re not striving for 100% completion, because you’d have to be insane to try and get it here. All that said, I’m still playing it through and really enjoying it because I love the Bit Trip games, and this is another great entry from that developer, with a really cool new approach to rhythm platforming, an awesome rendition of the League world especially coming from the Netflix show, and an amazing soundtrack. Just probably don’t play it here.
