Is heya free?
Yes, heya is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is heya legit?
⚠️ The heya app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Does not resubscribe plan automatically even when credit is sufficient. Phone number becomes invalid immediately when plan expires, locking you out of the app, leaving you with no way to purchase plan now that *119# is down.
Unreachable customer support
The most frustrating and worst customer support ever. There is no number to call at all and the only way to connect to a staff member is through the ‘Chat with us’ feature on their website - which I’ve tried multiple times and waited for over an hour long each time but could not get connected to the live agent at all.
Went down to the physical retailer shops and were told by the staff there that they could not help me, neither could they reach the live agents on my behalf and the only way is, again, through the chat with us feature.
Many regrets signing up for this heya plan as there’s no support at all if anything goes wrong. Happened a couple of times and each time no one to reach out to for help.
Top up
App is down while I need to top up. And there's no other ways to top up, It can't do auto deduction from bank Or CC and we can't top up in advance.... Every month I can't remember to top up on time because of this.
Heya early Top Up resulted days missing
I have recently top up the plan 4 days in advance and the expire dates has short change the mobile plan expire date by 4 days. This is a bug when it come to calculate expiry date. This app calculate the top up date as the start of the plan and not base on the exact expire date. For early top, you will get a lesser days that you can use, and this is consider cheating. I am so disappointed with this app!!

Backed by SingTel but can’t even apply for recurring billing. Get with the times man!

Unsuccessful top up attempts via App
Tried to top up in the app multiple times but all unsuccessful, I just joined this telco in late June this year. Terrible customer service from the chat service with live agents who are unable to help their customers with their issue regarding the top up service in the heya app. The live agents will just sent you template answers instead of answering your issues directly.

a lot of stunt this telco
recently come out a lot of stunt to lock you in, such as give you $1 but no way to spend it. To spend it you need a minimum of $3 to get the roaming or idd plan, which requires at least 12x more normal $10 topups to get the other free $2, this kind of stunt very annoying. other stunt like topup $30 to get $5, topup $50 to get $10 (1 month free). want give but dont want to give like that, is actually more worth and better to port out and port back in (but i wont), because it is such a hassle to get this card at offline stores. network getting super slow, and yet still no 5G, no eSIM, NO NOTHING. heya is really the worst experience, not to mention they keep sending you DAILY SMS to harass you to topup. if you topup at the wrong time outside their promotional period, you DON'T GET ANYTHING! contacted their customer support and they just say "sorry please understand". This is the standard of No1 network guys. The app still cant stay logged in, they program it to time out on purpose, why does a fricking telco app to check usage need to have time out like a "bank level" security? porting out due to other telco simply better. Singtel heya 4G although super fast at some areas, but rest of the place maciam like SIMBA speed, 1 to 2mbps... cant even watch video smoothly.

Otp always hard to come in. When keep on pressing resend, app ask to wait for 30minutes.
