This bottle/app pairing has been super helpful for me for over a year now. The only downside is that the app pushes features that are only usable with an extra subscription. For just tracking regular water with your bottle though, it works well!
I have this water bottle for three days and absolutely loved it then was locked out of my account could not get the reset password and haven’t heard anything from Support in last 24 hours. it seems to be a systemwide. I’m sure once it’s back up. It will be great but this is really frustrating.
Works
Whole concept literally comes crashing down if they have server issues. You can’t just track directly to your phone. It ALWAYS has to have a server connection. I’ve been manually adding data to health for days while their server is down. Also, ZERO acknowledgment or communication to their customers on this. When it functions (if it does and syncs correctly) pretty decent—but only because there’s zero competition in this market
I now have to recant my negativity from my extreme disappointment over a bad puk. I have a Tap bottle and am upgrading to the Aurora Pro bottle. The bottle itself is beautiful but I was extremely disappointed over the puk not working and getting hot. I ended up with 2 TAP bottles because I lost one and was crushed. I later found it and gave it to the lil one in the family. It is horrible when I cannot read notifications, they are super funny and for whatever reason are not letting me read them today. Given a recent app outage, I'll give it a day and hopefully they fix it. Laughter motivates me. Either way, the concept is fun and when it works it is great for athletes and even seniors or chronic pain people who don't drink enough water. Hoping this replacement puk works, this first one was scary.
After almost a year of use I get up this morning and the app dumped all my user data…deleted my bottle. And now at 200 lbs it says I only need 38 Oz of water a day. Don’t know what happened but I don’t like it. I question if I will continue to use the app.
Not a true find my bottle feature. Only shows up if BT can’t connect, so it is saving the last seen location, not actively showing like Apple’s find my. FM uses BLE and nearby peer to peer networks to track items, not GPS, so they can easily implement it. The app asks for money for everything, when truly everything can be saved on iCloud. Don’t get the bottle or the app, try other independent water logging apps.
I have been using this app with my bottle for almost a year. I have PAID for a subscription. A few days ago the app signed me out and will not recognize my email and password. *I have emailed support and have never heard back!
They fixed my problem - Great App
