HIDVCAM

Tried for 4 hours to pair 2 cameras, but could not connect to the wifi. My WiFi is both 2.4 and 5ghz but still couldn’t connect the cameras. Absolutely awful and should be avoided at all costs, wish I could give it 0 stars!! Amazon refunded.

This app is a joke. I spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to connect to the camera and it just didn’t work.

When choosing WiFi or camera hotspot, network isn't shown and 'choose' just takes you to your WiFi settings page, but offers nothing to select. Poor app that probably only wants Chinese access to your router password, videos you take and location, which you must be nuts to give away.

Terrible app wouldn’t connect to camera. Don’t bother, product unusable, refunded.

App is confusing and isn’t logical. Helpdesk seems missing. Not very user friendly. Camera is discrete and tiny which is great. Cable into power needs to be longer otherwise harder to hide the camera.

This app has been very useful when it worked but now the alarms are only flashing up temporarily in my Apple Notifications and not in the app itself meaning they get missed and lost as they are temporarily available from Notifications. They used to be available in the app for 24 hours and have a 24 hour setting that would generate Alarm notification which sat within the app for review. This is making it hard to pin point events. I have it set to 24 hour alarms so I don’t understand why I only have alarms within the app till 12pm or 2 pm and then have to have the temporary ones after that.

All fine. East to set up. Works all ok. Just need put camera close to router for better pictures quality

One of the worse apps I have ever used, total rubbish

This app only works in fits and starts. You constantly have to restart it. Downloads of the videos do not work (ie when checking the replay you get a frozen image or only a portion of the video). The motion detector setting sets this off constantly or not at all. Basically a very simplistic and only partially competent app.
