This is a buggy terrible app that I am forced to use to listen to er cast. The content on er cast is great, but PLEASE just make the rss feed available (like it is for emrap, ema, and like it used to be for this very show).

Hoping this gets fixed soon. Will stop playing after just 1-2 minutes, every single time. Will change my rating if playback improves because content is great.
I just really wish hippo ed would publish their content through a regular podcast app. I am beyond frustrated trying to navigate this buggy app. It makes me not want to pay for a subscription because while I appreciate their solid content, I can hardly access it in this clunky format.
Ever since this app was most recently updated there have been issues with consistent playback. I download the episodes and listen to them via Bluetooth normally in my car, but I can no longer do this because the app will stop playing after 2 minutes of lecture. I then have to reopen the app and hit the play button. I can’t do this while driving due to safety concerns. If this is not fixed then I will cancel my subscription.
The content is fine. The app is a nightmare. Something as simple as “remembering where in the segment you paused” often fails. Frequent, inexplicable crashes. Often requires a re-login when starting the app. It’s difficult to understand how an app with such a limited purpose - playing a podcast - does its job so badly.
I am a big fan of the content on this app. However, the app is a barrier to consuming this content. It is very buggy when going in and out of cell service in the mountains. This issue causes the podcast to stop suddenly and then be unable to resume due to lack of internet access. Additionally, you can download episodes but this doesn’t allow you to actually play them when you don’t have cell service. I presume it is tied to the CME attestation? Either way, fixing this problem with the app will keep my subscription active.
INCREDIBLE resource for pediatricians
The app is below par. It doesn’t keep a record of the CEU. I have earned by listening to these podcasts. It can’t keep track. In addition it screws up a lot. This is a shame because the material is excellent.
I LOVE this urgent care podcast! I am a new grad PA working in urgent care and this has been my go to resource for urgent care topics. I love the variety in length of episodes (from 5 minutes to 30 minutes), I always listen on my drives to and from work. I enjoy all of the clinicians they have had on and truly learn so much that I can apply to my clinical practice.
