Hiragana Quest

This helped me so much and is especially good for visual learners like myself 👍🏻 also helpful for learning stroke orders!!

Was pleasantly surprised at how great this app was! Never thought I could learn to read Hiragana and Katakana so quickly, the clever use of key words, building blocks and storytelling made it significantly easier to draw and recall the characters. I had so much fun doing this and the great progress that I made in such a short time made the cost inconsequential. 10/10.

Hiragana Quest’s system of creating stories in your head and then practicing the stokes is a effective method to memorize the titular Japanese alphabet. If I would improve it, I would have set times/reminders to practice hiragana and recall past characters during the game as spaced repetition is important for remembering words.

I was not about to work with this app because there is no sound to learn with. This is the third app i have tried that has no sound all my other apps work just fine with sound so i know its not my phone.

omg its so fun and like actually helps me REMEMBER the japanese bc like its easy to just learn it but then you just forget… THEY LITERALLY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE THESE PICTOGRAPHS AND SHORTCUTS TO REMMEBER ITS AWESOMEE ⁉️💖😭

This is a fantastic app and teaches really well and it’s well worth the money you pay for it! However I wish there was a feature that turns off the English letters during testing so you can associate the sound to the kana

Got to the 8th section of hiragana and ran into a glitch where I can’t proceed any further. Had a great time with it til this point. Please fix!

Good design but only includes half of the total characters.

Used this app to learn ひらがな and カタカナ. I enjoyed every minute of it.
