It’s great to have this much History Today at my fingertips.
Great mag like the format, happy with my purchase
Great magazine presented through a really good app!
Serious history articles and good presentation
The content is very good, as it has been for decades. Something has gone wrong with the app on IPad making it unreadable - nothing appears on the 'issues' page.
Like many history graduates, I’ve retained my passion for the discipline even if I’m not working in the field. History Today is an ideal way to keep that passion fed. I particularly enjoy its breadth and variety, even as it shows up how woefully limited in chronology and geography was my own formal study of the subject!
The content is very good, as it has been for decades. App generally seems to function seamlessly with one glaring exception. When I download a new issue, it will repeatedly crash when I try to open that newly downloaded issue. Normally it takes hours before it functions properly again and I can open the new issue.
I first read HT nearly 40 years ago on the recommendation of a teacher and enjoyed its different take on history compared to our text books. After a long break it’s great to see that the plurality of voices, topics and debates are as strong now as then. Thank goodness.
Excellent range of articles. Always interesting.
