The app has all the basic necessities and is extremely responsive and clean, but lacks features found on the website, like forums, valve rankings, detailed stats and analytics.

I find the app confusing and it’s lacking features like following event so it’s the first thing when I open the app. I would rather use the website. NT tho

This is a stripped-down version of the web client and I’m fine with that. I mostly wanted real-time notifications about everything on my devices, which this app on paper achieves. The thing is, the notifications can not be enabled. There’s an error about “enable remote notifications”, but nowhere is there an option for that: I checked iOS settings, HLTV setting in the iOS settings, HLTV app settings and HLTV web client settings — not a word about remote notifications. There was “global notifications” in the web client settings but those have been enabled for as long as I can remember to get desktop notifications. All in all it’s not very useful right now, if you can’t use any of the forum or social features, fantasy etc. BUT you also can’t have notifications about the official sport stuff. I guess I can quickly open the app and check the schedule but it kind of defeats the point when I can already do that using a web browser and this is not in any way easier or more convenient. If the notifications get fixed, I’ll be a happy user.

New look horrible, no forums and all the ”fun” is now gone. Gonna use browser now.

New update sucks. Cant see forums or search. Gonna use browser from now on.

Someone on the HLTV team supposedly decided the fans didn’t need to see team stats, the search function, the forums, the rankings... Nothing left really.

Push notifications don’t work. Crashes from time to time.

Basically useless… tbh idek anyone who uses stats besides kills and headshots

For the love of god can we get an easy view of headshots during games 🤦‍♂️ I watch on iOS and I can’t find headshots no matter where I look, website and app doesn’t have it, only place I see is on desktop. I even saved website version to Home Screen and still no luck. It can’t be this difficult can’t it?
