Hobi: TV Shows Tracker & Trakt

There is no way to contact anyone for support! And I’ve gone through a similar situation 2 times already!

Edit: 11/28/2024 Still having the same problem I’ve had since I downloaded this app in August and customer support nonexistent. Edit: 09/27/2024 It’s not syncing from Trakt.tv to Hobi, but it is syncing from Hobi to Trakt.tv Hobi has never worked since I downloaded it in August. I’m getting tired of this. Edit: 09/19/2024 today at 4:13 am for the first time Hobi says it synced with trakt.tv but none of my tv shows have downloaded to the app as of 8:53 am. Not once since I downloaded this app has it worked. Every time the app tries to sign in to trakt.tv it keeps saying retry.

One suggestion though…The only thing missing is letting us know which platform the show is on. Everything else is perfect and well needed.

I love Hobi, and use it everyday. It was so hard to keep track of all the different streaming shows on different platforms, not to mention keeping track of what episodes we had already seen. Hobi solves all those problems.. and really easy to use. I do have one suggestion. Add a movie tracking area. I always see ads for movies I want to see on different platforms, but the forget, or worse yet, start watching a movie only to realize I already saw it. I would love to be able to track movies in Hobi like I do tv shows.

Like the title says. Although occasionally you can’t kind a show. Like Agatha All Along. Wth?

Great app good for keeping your place in the episodes of your favorite shows though it is missing some shows

Just paid for but unable to sign in with Google or Apple. I keep getting an error message. Is this a bug?

I initially really enjoyed this app and found it incredibly useful. I have trouble keeping track of all the different shows I watch on different streaming services and when new seasons/episodes are released, so getting notifications when my shows came back was great! That was the main reason I got the app. The only problem is that those notifications have stopped this season and I can’t seem to find any reason as to why (they have permission to send them, the app is up to date, etc.). There aren’t any solutions on the help site, solutions offered by googling it haven’t worked, and I can’t seem to find any way to get individual support to fix the problem. It would be 5 stars if the notifications still worked, but without that I don’t find it all that useful and will probably end up deleting it. I hope this gets fixed and I can update this review because it really was a fantastic app before this issue arose.

I’ve been using this application for over a year now and unfortunately it’s got steadily worst. Premium shows don’t sync correctly, their faq says to go and check their sources tvmaze etc, and the shows are there. Support doesn’t answer their tickets and the application hasn’t been updated in over 3 months so it doesn’t sit well that we’ll have an iOS 18 update to fix anything soon. Shame, could have been one of the top tv show apps.

I’ve been waiting for this kind of app forever, and I love it. I recently posted a review that stated “there are some shows that don’t have all the seasons and episodes available. Mainly ‘FROM’ on MGM+” Less than a week later all the episodes were available. Great job Hobi.
