Great app, I love it and use it for every game.
It used to be good, but now my watch dies every time I turn this on. The battery just dies, even if it’s more than 80% charged.
If you play any level of hockey, this is an app you should not live without! Amazing data and stats that will encourage you to continually improve from skate to skate. The responsiveness of the developer is unreal, even when the issue was an iOS issue and not the App. The annual fee is a no brained for all the extra information that is incredibly detailed. Thank you to the developer for creating and continuing to add features to this incredible gift to the hockey world!!!
I’m going to be honest here. This app is very good! They’re are some very useful features and tools on this app, that if you want to take you hockey game to the next level you should need! Sure a lot of the stuff you have to pay for but it is worth it! This is all around a great app especially if you have a Apple Watch to connect it to when you are on the ice. So like I said before you should absolutely get this app.
Good app and most of the tracking features are solid. App allows you to add stats to each game but does not offer a tracking mechanism over time. You have to look at each game individually instead of seeing over all totals
I tell everyone at the rink to get it.
After 3 sessions I have gotten some very inaccurate stats. During a game it said I hit 28 mph but only skated .6 miles. During a stick and puck I skated 30 laps which alone is 1.5-2 miles, plus all the other skating and drills I did. I skated for 84 minutes and my total was only 2 miles, and that is maybe half of what it should be. It’s impossible to believe the other more in depth stats with the obvious stats being so inaccurate. Cool app and stats but not worth money if you can’t trust the numbers they give.
Nice app for you to track heart rate, etc. the speed is completely off though and not trustworthy. Sometimes it says I’m going 9 mph when I know I’m going faster and has often said I’m over 25 mph closer to 30mph which is highly inaccurate. No chance I’m faster than mcdavid in the nhl lol.
Sometimes sessions are created accidentally. I’d love the ability to be able to delete a session that was created on accident.
I started using the app simply to measure the distance of my skate-similar to a running app, and to also measure my speed. After a significant cardiac event, I have grown to appreciate the detail the app applies to heart rate and BPM’s and how this is applicable to many ratings. While I may not fully understand ALL of it, I can sure as heck tell you that when I have a great game, the values reflect that. If I play a so so game, all of the relative data is also reflected. To date, I have used HT for about 3 years and I share the data with my cardiologist. It provides me the peace of mind to push my self (I have a max BPM set) and HT gives me data collection to be able to use for evaluation, analysis and other assessment activities that keeps me trying to improve. With regard to my HRR, which is most important to me, it identifies a very consistent (good) trend which is shared with doctor. Peace of mind and a lot of fun too.
