Curiously Addictive

Have always enjoyed this game, but for a while I’d shelved it because I’d played the campaign through and had a high score in the infinite stage that I just couldn’t beat. (I swear it was updated with a physics fix that made it just slightly more challenging in being just slightly more accurate/removed one tiny seldom triggered bug/whatever it was.) I came back to it after a few years to find my one wish — that the infinite stage could be made more colorful along with showcasing the other music from other stages — had been implemented! These days I use it as a kind of software toy, not expecting I’ll EVER beat my high score (though it’s fun to try). I just like the chaos that can sometimes be found in creating a particularly good shot that happens to be both acyclic and yet a very long path. I compete not on depth but try to see how many “touches” (times bullets hit the bricks) with every shot. Which happens to be good strategy for winning but is a much harder thing to compete with oneself at. And thinking of it now ad a software toy, it takes the edge off the inevitable crash and need to reset progress. Basically, rethinking how I approach the game the second time I’ve come to it to play, it’s turned it into a go-to fidget toy. And I love that… It might not be everyone’s favorite, but it’s a neat twist on the old “Breakout”-type gameplay, and for me it’s surprisingly rewarding in repeat gameplay.

Been playing for years

Pretty good fun if you like this type of thing. It says as you go so you can play for One round or we can play for two hours. The missing star is because it’s a very limited. They’re only so many levels and then endless mode and that’s it. There’s no real variety or, interesting replay value except to pass time on the toilet

Super fun, want more

I’m ok paying a bit of $$ for a fun game, and this is that. But it took only a few days of playing to 100% the game. I know I can keep trying to dig deeper on the final level but there's not much motivation to keep playing. Would love more levels and more upgrades.

fun gameplay, horribly balanced late game

once you reach the endless mode it is not balanced at all, definitely needs a rework.

Can we get abandoned a mission?

I’m trying to chase down a friend on the scoreboard, but I’m stuck doing the mission. I started instead of restarting a different one. Why is there no way to abandon a game?

New colors are trash

I used to love this game. It’s a great time waster without being too addicting and requires low commitment. However, they just updated the colors of the blocks and they are terrible. I wish there was a way to change back.

Love the game except for the little mascot

I love this game and play it addictively. I would even love the little tic-tac shaped mascot in the corner except for his comments when you tap him. Why do his comments make him out to be such a tankie? Maybe his comments need a re-do.

Great concept

Great simple concept that can be very addicting and endearing. I still play it even though there has been no development in a couple years. They totally could monetize this game with just some tweaks to gameplay and development of challenges, achievements and levels. Please jump back in on this game!

Simple little game

BraveHen on

United States

Simplistic, charming graphics, a cute worm (?) in the bottom corner of your screen and fun music and sound effects makes this a very enjoyable game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long to beat it and once you’re finished there isn’t much to do except for the endless level at the end which gets boring pretty fast.

Might we have more?!

Might we have more levels please. A lot more!
