The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is included with the app, and all the other popular translations (NKJV, NIV, NLT, ESV, NASB, MSG, etc.) can be affordably purchased in the app. Also available for purchase in the app are a large selection of Study Bibles, Commentaries and Devotionals -- with all of their extra content integrated beautifully in the app so it is easy to navigate, search and study.

The app does contain a single ad in the verse of the day screen. For customers who have made an in-app purchase the app remains ad free. As our user base expands, we have made this change In order to continue our efforts.

Reading the bible brings us closer to God and I love God and I’m forever greatful for him giving me a life and giving me the best boyfriend and family and friends I feel closer to God when I read the bible

Far and away,my preference

Don’t like the new update

Before the new update I’d have given this app 5 stars, but with the new layout I just can’t anymore. have tried many different apps and ended up settling on this one due to how it looked and worked, it was simple and didn’t throw pop ups at you. Since the update stuff is in a different spot, the verse finder is fiddly and annoying now when before it just worked. And it occasionally throws ads at you which while there aren’t many it’s painful. I’d be happy to pay a bit to get no ads but with the new updated layout I don’t know if it’s worth it…

Highlights

This app needs a quick access tab for the passages that’ve been highlighted. The app format of last year was perfect. Great app nonetheless.

So, I have had this app on my phone for more than 1 year and I have never utilise it. So yesterday I tried using and I loved it. It’s a great bible. Easy to navigate, someone can read the books for you and it’s just is sooo good. I love it..

Changes with no notification

Where has my bible gone? I was not told about an upgrade nor did I request it. I have numerous notes in my version and now it looks like it is all gone. Why fix it when I was working great.

Joy in the morning

Thanks to the Lord Jesus for this app the verses and Devotionals every day are so encouraging to start the day dwelling in the spirit realm in prayer. Amen.
