Excellent Flexibility

PA&Nick on

Really flexible design. I created a dashboard contains all the devices my wife frequently uses. She no longer has to navigate between rooms. I control devices from Eve , Meross, Eufy and number of Shelly devices via Homebridge

Good but wasted space

cf78 on

Really good app and looks great on a wall mounted iPad. As others have said moving tiles about can be a bit frustrating but you get there in the end. One thing I would change is the amount of wasted screen real estate. The options shown at top and bottom of the screen should be hidden and only shown when needed not during normal operation. The scenes list at the bottom can be hidden but not the larger navigation options. If these could be hidden and the dashboard allowed to be full screen it would actually allow for more elements to be shown on screen.

Poor compatibility for money

Dan.tro on

Read the reviews both on the App Store and on line and can only assume they were written by friends or the company itself. Compatibility is terrible wish I hadn’t wasted £10.99 to be able to control half of the devices.

Great app!

Just one thing would make it five stars is the ability to resize all widgets on the dashboard. At the moment some of them are so small they’re not worth showing. I don’t want to have to scroll to see certain stuff, I want to be able to resize to show it all. Devs, this possible?

Good, but could be even better

AKWillows on

I like the principle of the app and really want to use it for a wall mounted iPad. Things I’d love to see improved: - Sort out the edit layout for the dashboards. When you move one widget, all the others move about randomly making it impossible to group similar widgets - Give ability to adjust sizes of the widget content so that there is no need to scroll within widgets

Good but frustrating

I-Like-Cats on

This app is what Apple’s Home app should be. However, the built-in game of “guess how your widgets will move” is really very frustrating. There is a grid system that your widgets have to conform to, so moving one can actually cause everything to move around randomly. I only have 7 or so widgets do you can try to move them back but any more and it would cause me to uninstall. A more customisable, fixed grid that didn’t try to be smart would get the 5th star from me.

OMG

Absolutely brilliant, just brilliant. Thank you.

Could be good but...

daved2424 on

No widget option for colour temperature bulbs such as Hue White Ambience. Also not possible to create nice even layouts. Widget heights should be multiples of each other and you should be able to better group widgets in columns or groups instead of one long annoying list that just wraps around. This app goes so far to solve the inadequacies of the Home app but then just runs out of puff at the end. Big shame considering the eye-watering price tag.

Just what I was looking for!

This is a great app, and is exactly what I have been looking for to organise all my HomeKit devices in one place. Looks nice and very easy to use. Good support from the developer as well, when I’ve asked questions about functionality and future features.

Superb

I read about this app at MacStories, what a beautiful implementation of Home / HomeKit. Practical as well, worth the cost of the app. Not sure why there are no reviews.
