HoMedics Drift

I got an 11” and thought this was the right app, couldn’t connect hours of research later there is a second app that needs a login, which was a nightmare of errors that customer service still can’t figure out. What is the point of having such buggy apps and multiples. Half of the appeal would be to program it, but that seems unlikely negative 1000 stars!!!

Guys, you need to update Patterns. It’s Christmas Time, and I have only 2022 and 1 Christmas tree.

This app is horrible. I’m using the newest firmware, newest iOS, but it will not download new patterns, will not favorite new patterns, nor will it follow the schedule I set. And customer service is an absolute joke!

I just tried to update the firmware. The motor started making a horrendous clicking noise and now the ball doesn’t move anymore. I’m livid

I love the drift, but I hate the app. I could not be more thrilled and delighted with the drift product itself. I absolutely love it!! the app is terrible. I cannot download half of them and it constantly tells me to unplug it and start again.

I’ve used this app for the better part of a year on phone and tablet. Every time I download a new pattern, I hit the “play” button and it glitches back to the main screen, forcing me to go find the pattern again and hit “play” successfully. Additionally, without being able to search alphabetically or by theme, it’s an eye strain to pick from scrolling screens. Expensive device, janky app.

For the price you pay for the item you’d expect there to be a huge selection of patterns you can do on the machine. However the list is very small. The year ones aren’t even up to date. I hope they change this. The machine is NOT cheap. Almost not worth the price.

same day update - i rated 5 stars initially because it seemed to be fixed. a couple hours later, everything i tap displays what looks like a debug screen that says “Homemedics drift 2976” again, this is the same issue that happened over a year ago. and restarting the app does not help 😔 original review - after possibly a year of not using it when the app stopped being able to connect to it, i stumbled on the app v1.0.8 update, updated the firmware with it, and it’s working again!! here’s hoping it works for good this time 😬 thanks devs for fixing it

I’ve been trying to to connect my brand new drift for the last hour. Unboxed it, connection has failed on the app every single time. This is a real joke

For the last year even with the few updates still can’t save pictures as favorites.
