Not that smart
App needs to be improved as its pain to use it with Alexa as smart product like other devices. Also app don’t have option to turn off or on.
Hotspot
App does not seem to be able to be used if the phone you are using it on is also providing the hotspot as your home WiFi.
Useless
I bought the ‘connected’ air fryer (which cost £25 more) so I can control it from my phone. Hardly ever connects, should have just bought the regular version
What on earth
Who’s idea was it to rename this app? I have Philips lights and air purifiers and they are not compatible with this app which makes the new name utterly pointless. It only works with Philips kitchen equipment which is fair enough but it needs to be called something else as this implies it’s a hub for Philips products. It’s not. Just as well really given the monstrosity of the hue lighting app. Another fail. Almost as bad as their website
No appliance
I downloaded the app for my all in one cooker , but the cooker was not in the appliance section of the app! Even though it shows here as if it is! Disappointed
The special air frier
This is amazing
Still refusing to add support for pasta recipes
Recently they have added the option to add the pasta machine after much nudging (which btw you are directed to download this App on purchasing, even on the side of the packaging there is a QR code for it) however if you search for recipes using “my machine” button and in my case recipes for “my pasta machine” it comes up with absolutely nothing, this was a major selling point for this machine and I have asked repeatedly for the recipes to be put back as they once existed (photos of the App show this) however they seem to not care and Airfryers, Blenders are prioritised, stop promoting the App for the Pasta Machine if you intend to make the connection to the App minimal. So simple just to have left the homemade pasta recipes there.
No option to connect app to fryer
Instructions tell you to download app and there will be ‘getting started’ page to sync your appliance with the application via the network. This option does not come up when first opening the app and there doesn’t seem to be any way to connect? It was purchased for this feature (amongst others) Have you removed this function?
