Chat about Homes

Published by: HomeSpotter

Description

We believe that every home search is a conversation.
HomeSpotter is beautiful, mobile-first home search, with built-in chat that makes collaboration fast, easy and fun.
We strive to provide an experience that’s easier and better for consumers and their agents. And we believe it can be done in a way that benefits the broker and MLS, too.
Agents and consumers have, for too long, had to copy, paste, email, and text property links all over the place as they went through their home search.
This didn't make much sense to us.
So, our idea: combine a great mobile property search experience with a familiar text message like interface so that working and communicating with others through a home search was simple.
Imagine texting property photo slideshows, not just links; enabling multiple conversations between your friends and family; even enabling chat between two agents that have full access to agent-only listing information.
Share, save, comment, chat ... messaging meets home search. 100% mobile, 100% better than the old way. That's what the next evolution of HomeSpotter is all about.

HomeSpotter works with many MLSs around North America - MLSs like California Regional MLS (CRMLS), NorthwestMLS (NWMLS), NorthstarMLS, Triangle MLS, Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV), Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB), RealtyMobi, Heartland MLS, HiCentral / Honolulu Board of Realtors, Spokane Association of REALTORs, MetroList Services, BAREIS, Realtors Association of the Palm Beaches (RAPB / BeachesMLS), Saskatoon Region Association of Realtors, Association of Regina Realtors, Greater El Paso Association of Realtors, RMLS, Bay East Association of REALTORs, Contra Costa Association of REALTORs, East Bay Regional Data (EBRDI), MLS of Hilton Head Island, Southern Oregon MLS, Garden State MLS (GSMLS), and many others.

Needs update crashes always

Fine already!!!!!!!!!! on

United States

The app was working great until the last update now it’s stuck “loading”

Great when it works

Constant issues over the years still not fixed. Mainly it will log you out constantly and usually happens when connection is poor where you need it most. Also it struggles to find your location and will revert back to some prior listing you looked at several listings before even the last. Basically has some code tweaks from what I can tell needed.

Love the app but…

Lu-la-Lu on

United States

I have used this app for years in my real estate business. It has been very productive in booking showings and pulling up agent documents on demand. However recently when I go to open a listing I receive an error loading message asking to try again, we think you will love this. This message repeats when I click try again. I have found it difficult to receive support feedback. It also is challenging to navigate the online site when needing to update passwords. All in all, when the app is operating smoothly it is a great app. Tech support could use improving.

Sign in is defective

I am an agent. I created an account on my computer. I try signing in on the mobile app and it will not let me sign in even with the correct credentials. When I use my phone number and provide the correct verification codes, it always tells me the code is incorrect.

Good app with lots of bugs

JBanjovie on

This app is fairly buggy. - Does not open links from imessage in app. Even if you click “open in app” from safari it just send you back to safari - only accepts a phone number to login in app, but requires an email and username to log in on desktop - frequently gets stuck, so that every time you open the app it opens to a specific house. Even force closing the app doesn’t fix it. Deleting and downloading the app again is the only fix

Broker/Agent Traci Balder

You will be hard pressed to find an agent that will work harder for you than Traci… She doesn’t simply find a house and complete the transaction, she listens and searches for the home that is right for each client. She has a unique quality, an understanding, that she establishes with her clients to seek out the right home, within your budget. Her knowledge is exceptional … Is the structure well built? Does the water pass testing? Is the septic compliant? Is this a good school district? If you need assistance with financing, she helps with that too… Traci is a full service Broker/Agent and a delight to work with. Maury

No customer support.

You better hope you never have trouble logging in or better yet, hope the realtor your using lets their license laps. I can’t even sign in with a new realtor now because every time I put my phone number in it says my realtor is no longer licensed with the mls. Great, I know that but now even with a link from a new realtor I can’t create a new account and can’t change anything with the old one and there isn’t even an option to use my email instead. Went to the website to see if I could long in there or if there was any kind of customer support and nothing. This app is a one and done can’t use it again.

Love Homespotter

Maggie petree on

United States

I have been used home spotter for 5 years since I joined the real estate industry. It is super convenient and foundational, but since year end of 2023. There are some features are not working well , when I use filter to nail down the property search it did not work anymore. Also when I found some homes in My mls but it couldn’t find from Homespotter donot know why. I hope can use this App forever it is my favorite tool on my real estate business,

Quick look

Great app when driving neighborhoods. Click and view for 99.9% of what you need to know with a quick auto copy of the MLS# that gets you everything else should you need it.

App crashes and won’t let you login in consistently

KatK44 on

United States

App continually will sign you out and crash when you put a MLS number in the search. Works only randomly and consistently crashes any time you put in more than one MLS number at a time so you have to log in over and over. Also login to begin with sometimes just freezes and won’t let you login. Would love to see improvement as it’s been going on for ages and the bug continues.
