A very poor system & Ripped off of Funds

Funds can’t be added ahead due to the agreement with this particular city. An incorrect duration was entered and immediately cancelled which resulted in no minutes being used however to my dismay, my credit card was charged anyway!! They refuse to refund or credit the significant amount - it feels like I’ve been completely SCAMMED so I cannot recommend using this App!! Just use the machine instead.

Edmonton Fail

I downloaded this to use for parking in Edmonton and it doesn’t work at all. I wondered if it was a scam.

2 hour Max

Can’t refill on same “Zone”. Have to move car after 2 hours. Watching hockey game, need to leave to re-park.

The worst

May perhaps be the worst and most uselessly frustrating app. Needing an account or membership to park one time in one place is completely unneccessary, especially with how complicated navigating the app is. Would be so much easier if this was just a website.

Great customer service

I added funds to my Wallet in error, contacted customer service and was promptly refunded.

Make sure you upgrade

If you make a mistake and pay the wrong spot, then cancel it, your still charged the full amount, unless you pay and have the premium version, then it’s okay

Bring back meters

Arrived at a post-secondary institution to attend a presentation. Parking appears to use “HotSpot.” Download app (over cellular). Set up account. Signs IN THE LOT show “HotSpot” as method of payment. Search in app does not show the lot I was sitting in. Search function does not display it either. Went to 30 minutes of presentation and left so as not to get a ticket. Will not attend events at the PSI again, and have deleted account and app.

I don’t like it after one month using

This app is extremely unreliable and filled with errors. There’s a high chance it could cause you to lose your money and tickets. I do not recommend using it until the issues are fixed.

Previous app was better

There is no option to extend parking like the old Edmonton parking app had. Yet another reason we do not go downtown anymore.

Costly expense

I am not adverse to paying to park when I am downtown; however, I don’t appreciate ending my parking early and still be charged for the full time I anticipated taking.
