Only shows Celsius
This was an excellent app. Got a new iphone 11 and there is apparently a compatibility issue. App now displays just a blank aqua screen where the calculators used to be. Still works with an older iphone running the same number ios. No way to contact developer for help. Disappointing.
Claims to be for hot tubs, but you can only set the balance calculator up to 36 degrees centigrade which is only 96.8 Fahrenheit - most hot tubs are kept 100-104 degrees Fahrenheit. Oh, and you can’t change it from centigrade to Fahrenheit.
Great app. My only complaint is compatibility with iOS 11.
You're better off paying for a better designed app you don't have to manually configure as much. This looks and functions like something from 10 years ago. Chemicals and measures seems a bit off.
I was plugging in recent data to see if this calculator works. All was great for about 10 minutes. Now it crashes every time I try to go into the dosing screens. I think it would be decent if it didn't crash. One issue - sodium hypochlorite (bleach) comes standard at 8.25%, but this app only has options for 6% or 10%, 12.5%, and higher.
Seems like a good app, except when it comes to the temperature setting. Why can't you change between Fahrenheit and Celsius? It only allows Celsius, which means that I have to do the conversion separately to figure out what the Fahrenheit temperature is. When this gets fixed, I'll give it 5 stars!!!
It has "HotTub" in the name but you can't raise the temp slider to a hot enough temperature! AND it only has celsius.
Keeping the comments positive, I would like to ask that the authors incorporate the charts and addition items for Bromine hot tubs. This was the first app I bought, and was disappointed that it didn't have the features for Bromine use. A handy converter for alternate chemical use would be great ie: for raising up the PH, use Sodium carbonate or BiCarbonate and how much? Different manufactures use different systems. The new version looks very nice! I look forward to continued support and features.
