*** The Simplest Hourly Chime ***
HourlyChime is a simple utility that runs in background and hourly notices the exact time to alert. With this little utility, you can easily keep track of time. You will hear alert sound with/without popup message every hour on the hour. There are 9 chimes installed with the application. You can select the chime to be played once every hour. Or you can even let your iPhone tell you the time in "Speaking Clock" mode.

- runs fully in the background
- use any of the built-in chime sounds
- built-in speaking clock as alternative to chime sound
How to use:
1. Click and run the HourlyChime application.
2. In order to enable alert function, you should slide the switch ON.
3. When the switch is ON, you can see other options.
4. You can set your alert type, alert times and alert tone. The selected item will be displayed with the checked mark.
5. If it is done, you should press the Home button.

- obeys the volume and silent settings of your phone

Low voice of speaking clock
I Like this app. But the voice of speaking clock is very low. Hardly able to listen what time is speaking. Please raise the volume of this. Would give 5 stars if you provide an option to add a sound before it speak out time. Eg: chimes etc. Eagerly waiting for the updated version

It’s back!!!
The version 2.2 update allows the app to work as intended once again on recent OS’s. Confirmed on 16.7. Thanks for the effort and the fix!
Disappointed.
Not a single peep. I’m so disappointed.
Didn’t work on my iPod touch
Never did work.
Should’ve heeded the reviews.
I downloaded this app thinking it would work. No chimes whatsoever.
Didn’t make a single sound
I setup the times and turned on the app then went to the Home Screen. When the set time came up there was no sound. In order for these apps to work properly they need to have background app refresh turned on but this app doesn’t even have that feature. I’m using it on the iPhone 14 pro max.
Does not work with iPhone 16
Nobody ever updated this app to keep up with iPhone versions. Does not work.
No longer works
This was a great app but now with the iOS update no longer works. Please fix!
